Exactly what daddy ordered - it's a great fit for the ROG Ally with the skull & co grip on. It's a hard case with soft insides and space for micro SD. *Possible con for non grip users* If you are going to use it for the original ally WITHOUT the skull & co grip case, the ally will move slide sideways a bit. Can't really tell whether it will have any impact on the device, but you will be able to tell if you shake it a bit.

I bought this because I couldn't see or get an answer about it so I thought id give it a try and return it if it didn't fit. I'm sad to say it wasn't compatible with the new Xbox Ally X handheld. It's just too small and although you could press it into place and put the screen protector under the system instead of over it and will close but it puts pressure on the thumbsticks when the case is closed with the disadvantage of the screen cover also not being over the screen. Its a shame because I really like the look, feel and build quality of this case. Hopefully Skull & Co have a new version on the way and I'll definitely be looking to get one if they do.

Kompakte Bauweise für unterwegs Das schlanke Design ermöglicht es mir, das Case problemlos in meinen Rucksack zu packen, ohne dass es viel Platz einnimmt. Gerade auf Reisen ist das für mich ein großer Vorteil, da ich mein Gerät sicher verstauen kann, ohne auf Komfort zu verzichten. Solider Verschluss und guter Halt Der Reißverschluss wirkt stabil und das Innenleben gut gepolstert. Mein ROG Ally sitzt sicher, und ich muss keine Angst vor Schäden haben. Dieser Alltagsnutzen hat mich überzeugt, weshalb ich das Case gerne empfehle. Fazit: Für mich ist das Carrying Case ein unverzichtbarer Begleiter, wenn ich meinen ROG Ally sicher und platzsparend transportieren möchte. Es vereint Stil, Schutz und Praktikabilität und macht mir das Leben unterwegs wirklich leichter. Mehr kann man von so einem Case nicht erwarten.

This is my first Skull & Co. item I've purchased and I am not disappointed. This is a very high quality case and well worth the price. However, I did not use this case with the Asus Rog Ally or the Ally X. Instead, I have been using this case on the AYN Odin 2 Portal with the OEM grip. I had a little difficulty finding a quality case that would for the Portal with the grip. I'm pleased to report that this case is almost a perfect fit. There is a little slop but it does not slide around. There are places that are molded specifically for the Rog Ally, but it's close enough to the shape of the Portal where it is not an issue. There is still enough room for a few accessories in the pouch. I currently have wired earbuds, cleaning cloth, a set of controller stick caps, and a 3 ft USB-C cable and there is a little room to spare. I really like the color of this case. It's like a dark blue wash denim look. The plush padding around the case is very soft and the accessory flap is a little small to fully protect the Portal's large screen, but it works and I'm not worried about it scratching the screen, but I do pack away the Portal in the cloth case that was included with the device. The case zipper is also very high quality and the two branded zipper pulls are nice. The carry handle looks unimpressive at first, however, after closer inspection there is a very small D-ring carabiner that can be unclipped and the handle becomes a wrist strap. I can't imagine using it as a wrist strap, but it's a nice attention to detail. This is a well thought out case and I'm sure you will be pleased with it if you own the ASUS Rog Ally, Ally X, or the AYN Odin Portal 2 (with or without the grips).

not as good as first party steam deck case but for third party rog ally x case quality is really good. fits well and has good build quality.

I recently got an rog ally x from Facebook marketplace and needed a good case to protect my console. I saw people suggesting this brand for cases and I figured why not. I knew I wanted a slimer case and have it be hard shell so the protection is better! It definitely protects my rog ally x and traveling with it is good too! I love the demin design and it functionally works great! Thank you for making a good cases!
