Amazon Kindle Paperwhite and Amazon Kindle Colorsoft Case, Lightweight and Foldable Protective Cover – Plant-Based Cover

Very pleased so far with my new kindle, love the colour and feel of the cover and battery life is excellent, HOWEVER not happy that my original kindle is no longer supported which is why I had to buy this one, there was nothing wrong with it and it seems like such a waste! Can’t even give it to a charity as no use if you cannot download books. None of that detracts from the new one which is why it gets 5 stars

I am *so* impressed with this. It looks and feels more like real leather than the genuine leather previous generation Paperwhite covers, which felt 'plasticky' and had a very un-tactile coating and cheap printed grain finish. This, however, appears to have a natural grain to it and a soft, almost nubuck, handfeel. There even appears to be natural skin markings of the type you only usually see on high-end leather goods. If I didn't know it was plant-based, I'd never have believed it was vegan leather. The magnets are incredibly sturdy meaning the case won't flop open on the move leaving your precious Paperwhite vulnerable to scratches and all manner of bag-based devilment, plus the front flap (ooer) stays securely affixed to the back while you're reading. The soft microfibre lining to the front flap (ooer, again) babies your Paperwhite screen and makes reading with the flap open (ooer times three) so comfortable. Like a hug for your hand *and* your Kindle. The edges are finished beautifully with sturdy black inking (the technical name for that edging on bag straps, fact hunters) and the overall look and feel is incredibly premium. As it should be for £42, but here's the best bit - I snagged this for £11 in 'very good' used condition. It doesn't look in the slightest bit used, it's perfectly brand new, just a slightly bashed box (ooer, yet again). Which is considerably cheaper than most inferior third-party cases, plus I've done something good for the environment (possibly). My favourite ever case for my favourite ever Kindle at a bargain price. Banging.

I love my kindle. Very easy to use not had any problems. Loads of books for me to read and I find using the dyslexic font excellent I can read for longer. I find the colour just about right. I have all the sandman series, but prefer to read on my iPad kindle app. I can’t think of anything bad about it. Enjoy.

One of my best purchases ever!! I absolutely love my kindle. It’s SO light in weight and the screen is fantastic and can be ready in any lighting. It’s small but the screen is big enough to read easily. I also love the colour, it looks so smart and pretty! Easy to hold, I’m obsessed.

I didn’t want to spend £42.99 on a case but with amazon ‘surprise’ releasing of the new kindles no other cases have been readily available (unless you’re happy for them to ship directly from china) so I didn’t have much choice. It is a lovely looking case that does the job of protecting my kindle, but I’m not sure it’s worth the price tag. The case offers plenty of protection with hard shell edges and a sturdy front cover. The inside of the cover is also a felt like material keeping the screen safe from scratchers. The magnets hold the cover in place when closed and when folded back, plus it puts the kindle in sleep and wakes it again quickly when opening and closing. My only issue is that along the left hand side the case doesn’t fold back completely, so it feels bulky to hold with my left hand. It’s fine when holding in my right as that side stays flat due to the magnets. I’m hoping that over time the material will soften and with plenty of folding it will eventually sit flatter… but for now it feels uncomfortable in my left hand. It also adds quite a bit of extra weight (110g - half the weight of the kindle itself) which is to be expected for the protection but is notable. The overall look of the case is really nice though! It’s sleek and I love the colour. The outside is nice and soft too and pleasant to hold. Overall I’m glad I got this as I do feel that my kindle is much safer now, but it seems a tad over priced especially as there are no other real options out there other than the official Amazon Kindle cases right now.

Love it. I like the fact that the cover is water resistant as I like to read down the beach. Not that I intend getting it wet! It is just the right size. Quite small and light weight so easy to carry and read. I can't comment on durability yet as I have only recently got it but my previous, older, outdated edition of Paperwhite Kindle still works.

Lightweight and durable. Love the crisp text and long battery life. Don't see much use for colours though as most titles don't need them. Colours are not sharp either.

Looks great wish had more time to use it

As soon as it was released I saw it 😍 and had to have it 🤣! For now I am using my new Kindle Scribe 🖋️ but also wanted the Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition to upgrade from my Kindle Oasis and as soon as I saw 👀 it my husband said to go for it 🥳, I chose the bundle that also included the leather plant based raspberry case cover (now I noticed 👀 they added the new color Ruby Premium Leather which was not an option when I first ordered mine 🥹) anywho, and included in the bundle the Anker charging dock made for Amazon. I was super excited for its arrival 💃🏻 and when it arrived oh man the excitement continued 😂 I set the dock in my office 📚, which is so convenient to just walk up and place it to charge or grab it to read 🤓. It does not need a charge but at times I just place it to get it back to 100%. The case cover in pink is gorgeous 😍, the feel is awesome 💯, sturdy 💪🏽 and fits to perfection 👏🏽 even with the skin I added to my kindle for a little more protection 🥹. The Anker dock I absolutely love; I also own Anker battery packs etc so I am enjoying this dock and have no doubt it holds up to what it needs to do 🤗 Now for the kindle colorsoft…. it’s everything I expected, small, very well made, super clear, I know how to navigate it so I set it up to my preference and the clarity is on point 💯 for day time and night time reading…. auto adjusting is awesome to use…. Waterproof 💧 I would hope it works 🙃, I did place it on my waterfall and little water specks 💦 got on it but nothing to be 💯 sure that the waterproof works but have no doubt it wouldn’t if I ever came around water 💦 Navigating the store to purchase is easy peasy 🙌🏽 I love 💘 seeing the screen pictures in color 🖍️ when I open my Kindle 🥰 Very easy on my eyes 👀 no straining…. Just perfect 😍 Never any regrets getting my Kindle, I am 💯 percent a Kindle fan 🖤 The skin seen on my Kindle Colorsoft is from Decalgirl, while it protects my Kindle it makes it look more beautiful plus matches my Raspberry Plant Base case cover 🥳👏🏽🙌🏽🥰🖍️💯😍

This case is exactly what I was looking for. It's lightweight, which is important to me, as I don't want to add extra weight to my Kindle. The plant-based leather feels nice and provides a good grip. The fit is perfect, and it doesn't interfere with any of the Kindle's functions.

Ottima custodia. I materiali sono di qualità, robusti e durevoli (ovviamente solo il tempo e l'utilizzo continuativo potranno dare la conferma definitiva). Essendo un prodotto originale non ho riscontrato alcun problerma di compatibilità con il mio Kindle. Comodissima la funzione di arresto e ripresa del dispositivo quando si apre o chiude la custodia. La funzione di cambio pagina con tap sui bordi o sul retro rimane funzionante. Consigliata.
