I enjoy Dr. Duke's style of writing. His books are packed full of useful information and he always includes personal anecdotes that are memorable and show that he also tries the things that he recommends for others.

This book has some good information, especially for beginners. It is more of an anecdotal narrative, but does include some scientific info, as well as how to use it and possible side effects.

This book contains essential information for anyone serious about taking care of themselves naturally. I love this book because it is practical information, written in an easy to understand manner, that is easy to do.

One of the best books out there for herbs.

This book was pretty disappointing. Someone else mentioned that it wasn't very comprehensive, and it isn't. I don't think it was Dr. Duke's goal to be comprehensive. Still, I wish he had covered more herbs, particularly culinary herbs, since so many offer wonderful healing properties. I don't regret having bought it, but his other books are far superior to this one.

Dr. Duke's book is excellent, as expected. I've shared it with friends and family, who all learned something useful from it and said they were buying it.

Every one needs this information in their mind when cooking. Incorporate these herbs into your food for better health and to make warding off disease a little more effective.
