I had it on preorder asap. The patterns are good, I've made the chocolate frog and mcgonigal, now working on the monster book of monsters. Each pattern is written by a different person, so the styles vary which I really like. The only complaint I have is the instructions for mcgonigal were a bit hard to understand in places, I'm an advanced toy maker and one line in the hair piece had me absolutely stumped, I just skipped it in the end as I could not work out what it was telling me to do and didn't seem massively important. I would 100% recommend this book to people who are familiar with intermediate or advanced crochet, but not to absolute beginners as most of the patterns would be far far to hard and would most likely put you off. The first 4 to 5 patterns would be beginner friendly. Harry, Ron, Hermione, luna and Snape. (Hermione could also easily be made into Ginny)

Excellent choice for Potter fan
Bought this with a pack of small yarns for daughter - she's made most of the book - it's excellent - so many characters and items all graded from beginner to expert - well explained step by step instructions

Great book!

I'm enjoying making from this book, some unusual patterns that I've not seen in other harry potter crochet books. The patterns are easy enough to follow
