I've always been curious about these, and was pleasantly surprise with how well it worked. It's a bit awkward getting your feet onto it if you've got a small WC style toilet, but it is perfectly comfortable to sit this way. There's no feeling of falling back or anything like that. It absolutely does what it is made to do and makes your life easier. It looks quite low in the pictures, but feels high when in use and makes a huge difference to your seated position.I terms of build quality, it is made from some very light wood, and I wouldn't want to fully stand on it. But that's not what it's made for, and it is absolutely sturdy enough for it's designed purpose. It doesn't rock or anything. The wood is finished and looks very nice. The feet are just a felt-like material glued to the bottom. I'd probably prefer rubber or something for the bathroom, but no big deal.It was very easy to assemble and the instructions are clear, though not really needed as it's so obvious what you need to do.
