This is a very cute heating pad that looks like a cow. It has a soft cloth exterior. There is Velcro back in which the heating pad is housed. It is easy to remove the exterior cloth and put it back on the pad. I heated it for 60 seconds in the microwave and it was a comfortable warmth to put on my neck. The directions say not to heat over 90 seconds. It also feels a little moist when it is heated. The directions say this is normal and will go away. This would be very cute for kids and for kids at heart.

Very nice and cute heating pad. A bit different with the other similar type heating pad that the filling is attached inside the plush, so that you need to put the whole thing in the microwave to heat it up. You also can't wash the plush by itself. There is an opening in the back of the plush that seems to be good to keep the heating filling, but it's not, so not clear what it is for. I guess, one can stick her hand in it and use it as a puppet.

It's easy to use, heats well but not too hot and not for a very long time. This was a gift to my daughter and she loved it. she was excited to use this and thought it was really cute and adorable. She wasn't very fond of the lavender flaxseed smell at first but is slowly growing on her. She also likes that it can be used cold or hot.

The insert is filled with flax seed and lavender and held the heat. It smelled more of flax seed than lavender.The insert can be removed to wash the cow cover. In our house items like this always go in a delicates bag on the delicate cycle of our washing machine, and then I lay them out to air dry.I would buy this and other designs again.As a side note, neither the description nor the packaging indicate where this Cuckool Microwave Heating Pad is made.

The Cuckool Microwave Heating Pad Highland Cow with Round Eyes (Cow3) is an adorable way to apply heat to what ails you. While the outer size is technically 16" x 11" that's including the legs and arms. The actual heating pad is approximately 13" x 8". The very cute cow cover is mostly a plush velvety/velour fabric with fake fur accents. There's a velcroed opening in the back let's you take the heating pad out so you can wash the cover. I like that you can microwave the whole thing--no metal on the cover. One minute in the microwave gives you about 15 minutes of lavender-scented heat--and no cord or overheating. The weight adds to the cozy feeling. I'm hoping if the scent goes away I can dab the flax-filled heating pad portion with a little essential oil to freshen it since it's not washable. I'm pretty sure that the cat and golden retriever versions are going in my cart for Christmas gifts.
