Perfect for tabletop gaming
Very durable and high quality image on mat it’s self. If I had a bigger table would’ve bought another

SAVES SO MUCH TIME, MORE TIME FOR PLAYING
Honestly an amazing product that saves a TON of time when it comes to setting up the table. Also, when you are arguing against someone making illegitimate moves, you dont even need to bust out the tape measure, just count squares when its obvious.Honestly its hard to play on a mat without the grid after using this. This is the mat we all fight over who gets to use at our local game store now.The ONLY reason im not giving 5 stars is the creasing from it coming folded instead of rolled. But honestly, everyone should get one of these. With these mats, you can set up a competitive layout in under 10 mins without even needing to use a tape measure. AMAZING product.

It's.....just Okay. And it smells like chemicals
The measurements are great, and the mat will probably never tear or break, but it is surprisingly thin and it smelled horrendous for the first month I had it. A very prominent chemical and plastic smell. It would fill my living room and car no matter where I put it.

Giant and Quality, but I wish they had a version without the Warhammer lines
I get these maps for playing D&D and other kinds of tabletop role playing games, and don't have any experience in war games like Warhammer, but I can speak at least to the quality of the mat: it's made of a nice, cloth-like leathery material which makes it super durable, easy to fold up, and lays down flat even after being rolled up tight. It is HUGE, my entire table can't fit it rolled out. And the print quality is pretty good. Unfortunately for my purposes, in addition to the regular grids you expect on battle mats, there are also a huge bunch of extra lines and circles, which must be for some war game. The lines are bright enough you can't really ignore them. I won't knock points off for them, since they are clearly visible in the listing, and I'm sure they are a plus for this mat's target audience. So overall, my advice is, if you play a wargame that could make use of all these extra lines and circles for whatever mechanic they are used for, go for it. I would not recommend it for D&D.

A Great Choice for Wargaming
Something about a good Battle Mat makes a Tabletop War Game so much better. This one is sized for Warhammer 40K, but you can use it for pretty much any game, you can also fold it to desired size or do what I do and just put some painter's tape on it to size. The print quality is fantastic, nice, sharp detail with crisp color. It feels pretty rugged and durable, but I do have to mention that the edges are not sewn. In the short term, that isn't much of an issue, but after repeat games, it could start to fray and wear down. That hasn't happened yet, but its something to keep in mind. For the price, I'd say its pretty good. I have seen similarly priced battle mats come much worse, but I've also seen a few better ones too. Either way, with this one in particular, you'll be pleased with your purchase. At the end of the day, it makes a great addition to any wargaming tabletop, and I do recommend it. Now go roll some dice.

So-so quality
First things first: buy the rolled package. This will ship rolled up in a tube instead of folded. The material here is quite thin and is susceptible to creasing. This map is huge, wider than the standard-size foldable table I whip out for game nights and nearly as long.I was expecting this to feel like a TCG playmat, but it is noticeably thinner. This does make it lighter, but also much more susceptible to wear and tear. The 1" grid is very useful for Dungeons & Dragons, but the other marks really take away from its appearance unless they're useful for the game you are playing (I don't play 40K so I can't speak to that), especially because the printing of them is noticeably brighter and crisper than the terrain it's transposed over.Over $80 might seem steep, but it's about in line for other battle mats this size. The thin material, however, means this is actually not as good a value as I'd like.

Looks awesome!
This is a great battle mat that can be used in a variety of games. It's clearly made more for wargaming, such as Warhammer 40K, but you can easily use it with D&D, Fallout, or any game that has tactical combat. The first thing you notice is the size. This thing is huge and will fill up your table. The second thing you'll notice is that it stinks. Literally. It had a very strong odor when I unpacked it. It was so strong it went through multiple rooms. I had to leave it in the garage for weeks to air out. Once it airs out, it's fine, but I figured I should mention it so you're not taken by surprise. The material it's made from feels great. It's a synthetic leather and it's feels really strong and durable. I predict this will hold up for years. Certainly longer than any paper maps.Aside from that, it looks great and can easily be applied to any game in need of a wasland-style landscape. There's plenty of room for all kinds of 3D terrain pieces and it just helps tie everything together and look great on the table. All in all, I think it's pretty nice and I'll be using it whenever I plan to adventure in the wasteland or on some desolate moon.

Great mat
I got this to have a huge battlemap, and boy is it huge. This covers my entire table. It's a kind of fake leather feel, which actually feels nice compared to the paper or plasticy mats I've used before. My only issue is that it is one sided. I wish that it had a second type of setting for more flexibility, as it takes up a lot of space.
