Use on a 2024 Lifan KPX-250 motorcycle.
I installed one of these when assembling the motorcycle before even starting up.. The lifan KPX-250 comes with a round filter that is a metal mesh with no where the filter surface as these paper filters. Highly recommend to replace the metal factory filter with these paper filters before you start the bike. Also use rotella T-4 15W40 oil which is same weight they come with factory fill and good for the wet clutch in most bikes. Change oil and filter in the first 35 miles, then again at 100 miles,, again at 300 miles then you can go to 1000 and the engine will be broken in.. for more watch the video by Herbies Garage on youtube on break in procedure. UPDATE: Did second oil change a 135 miles and could see more stuff in filter,, mainly in oil that was draining... to see what is coming out put a sheet of white paper on the drain pan to show the metal flakes... I pulled apart some of the pleats and could see smaller stuff in them as well.. took off upper cam gear cover adn could see some small stuff in the cover with residual oil left,, took off starter cover with gear seeing a bit larger stuff... A lot of this stuff takes time to wash down .. if you are riding off road more the side to side and up and down with engine running can wash out more.. I plan to do another oil change at 350 or so and at 500 its OK to switch to T-6 synthetic 15W40.. these engines are considered broke in at 1000 miles. Third or 4th oil change in the books. KPX 250 running like a top.

Great value for price
Although sone of the material is obviously a little lower in quality, the main thing i noticed was the bypass valve spring. It is considerably more stiff than OEM. This is what you want so the oil gets filtered correctly.
