This faja was great at providing compression. The size large worked perfectly and was actually comfortable. The thigh part stays out and doesn’t roll up which was an issue I had with another faja. It provides good level of compression without feeling too tight. The quality is also great for the price point because these garments can be quite pricey. I do wish it had more hooks but when I’m ready to size down I may just have it altered. It’s easy to put on and nothing like the horror stories I’ve heard about fajas. Overall satisfied with this item.

I like shapewear to smooth me out but I don't like to feel super compressed. I was worried this garment might be too restrictive, so I sized up and am glad I did.It is good quality, fits well, and I didn't have to completely struggle to get it on/off. It gave me the smoothing effect I was looking for under a knit dress. I was still able to bend and breathe. I found the legs to be on the loose side. There are hook and eye closures underneath the zipper for extra support.One thing to note is that if you have small breasts or if you are wearing a very tight dress the zipper may show through what you are wearing over it. I have large breasts so the projection I have was able to effectively hide the zipper bump.The straps are a good idea but I think they are more decorative than anything as the garment stays up on its own without needing them. I chose to remove them.I would recommend and buy again.

I got this in size Large two months ago (at the time wearing a size 12-14) and it didn't fit at all despite being in the measurements according to size chart. Since I got this shaper in preparation for a later wedding, I used it as an incentive to keep working out to be able to use it. I am now wearing a size 10-12 and this fits, I used it for my brother's wedding but there was no butt lift nor lower tummy control!This shaper does provide compression in the sense that if you have significant loose skin or cellulite it "tightens" so that it looks like a solid mass but it doesn't "lift". The clips are in the abdomen so if you have lower belly fat, there is no support as whatever is compressed from the abdomen gets pushed down so all of a sudden I developed this visible "bulge" that I had never seen before! Yes, my waist looked smaller but I rather keep a "natural curve" than develop a bulge in the low belly right above my thighs!Overall, it seems like this will work if you have lose skin or visible cellulite but it just may push that excess skin/fat to places you don't want them to be.
