Mil-Tec Men's Us Navy Pea Coat Tuch Jacket

A quality jacket at a great price. Looks smart with jeans and a shirt or dressed down just over a tshirt.Fit was a concern as reviews give different opinions for seemingly similar sized people.So in the interest of helping someone else, I'm 6'2" 15st and well built, not athletic or slim, with wide shoulders and approx 44" chest. Typically my size falls between L and XL depending on brand. I went for large as I have another MilTec jacket in L which fits well and I had tried the XL in that which was gigantic.In this peacoat the Large for me is ideal. My long arms leave sleeves finishing midway between wrist and above knuckles. Jacket when closed over a tshirt is roomy but not too loose. There's room to wear a thick jumper and still feel comfortable or to layer a tshirt and denim jacket then this peacoat over for extra warmth.Outer pockets are deep and good for keeping hands warm. One inner pocket is a bit high and slightly awkward but I can still fit my smartphone with flip case into it and you wouldnt know it was there.Buttons fine so far, could reinforce them easily if needed. The collar stands up well for the cold and windy days ahead.Fabric is a nice thickness and weight and looks good too.I wasnt looking for fine tailoring but this is a smart jacket for cold days and I'll happily wear it in all weather walking the dog, strolling on the beach and going to the pub.Glad I got it, been considering a peacoat for years, this one is just what I wanted.

Great coat. Very warm, heavy in a good way. Seems well made. Looking forward to winter! Watch out for the sizing. I got a large (I'm normally a large) but needed to change it for a medium. The large could fit two people.

The quality of the material is very good. It is a traditional cut, so quite roomy to wear a thick jumper or jacket underneath.Slightly let down by the buttons not being sewn on very well. Several came loose very quickly, but were easy to repair.

The coat has great quality. The fabric and stitches are good and it definitey seems quite warm. I still have to test it in the Winter because I bought it now but I'm not going to wear it before Autumn/Winter. We'll see how it behaves, including under the rain (although I hate taking these kinds of coats under the rain, there are raincoats for that). The size fits perfectly and the coats design is great. It really fits your body like a glove (well, at least mine).I agree with other people that the buttons are not very well stitched but, that's not really an issue as we can always reinforce them at home.

I bought an 'x-small' size, which is 38" on the size chart, and this fits well on me, a 38" chest. The coat is heavy, made of 50% wool and 50% viscose, shortish, with 6 button styling, and a button at the top if you want to do it right up. The high, stiff collar tends to stick forwards into my neck when turned up. The outer hand warmer pockets are great, deep, and just where you want them. The inside vertical pocket has no fastening, but is high up and a reasonable size for a wallet. It would have been more accessible if it had been on the left side. not the right, being a double breasted coat. Overall a stylish coat, with a nod to the US navy look.

Got the sleeves shortened, apart from that the coat is a great fit, with room to move and very comfortable. Material is thick and feels good quality. I wore it in the winter and i was snug and warm. Really pleased - so bought another one. Have had two other brands through the years but this mil-tec version is the best for fit,looks and materials. The price is also very reasonable.

I really regretted buying this rag.... The product is nothing like the photos or the description... cheap material and very poor sewing, with weak threads... Not worth a penny... The product, with major manufacturing defects, is unsuitable for USE.... Shoulder reinforcements, incorrectly placed and sewn, therefore...the shoulders of the coat automatically look very bad... Judging by the packaging of the coat, the coat had already been purchased and returned....then, it was sent again to the next buyer...

Good quality, great looking looking coat. You can wear it casual or formal. Happy with this purchase.
