Can this monitor be put on a mount?

This monitor is VESA compatible, 100mm x 100mm.

I connected using hdmi no problem. when i use the vga connetion the screen goes blue - why won't it display open pages?

Do not connect the HDMI and the VGA at the same time. The monitor can only handle one input at a time. If you are only using the VGA and get a blue screen, try another cable or the VGA port could be bad. Hope that helped.
