5th bottle!
40 year old, dry, sensitive, and reactive skin. This is my holy grail serum to add moisture to my face. I’ve been using Korean skincare since 2020 so I’ve tried them all. I always reach for this one! Leaves skin glowing and moisturized. Soaks in quickly and doesn’t leave skin sticky. Helps with fine lines by plumping the skin with essential moisturizing ingredients. Does not cause breakouts or reactions!

Hydrating and non irritating on my sensitive skin
I have mature, combo skin that is very sensitive so I have a hard time finding skin care that doesn’t irritate my face. This s. Nature serum is hydrating, fast absorbing and non irritating on my face. Win win.

Good quality product that works
Good serum with no scent, BONUS! It offers hydration and makes my skin feel supple and soft without aggravating my rosacea or causing breakouts. I did not experience any sensitivity with using this product straight out of the bottle.

Overpriced glycerin with squalane as the 17th ingredient.
Aqua Squalane Serum? Let’s just take that name apart for second. Aqua? Sure, water is the first ingredient. Squalane? No, as it is number 17 out of 27 ingredients. I just noticed that the listing claims, “Contains with 1ppm Squalane”, which is technical jargon that means only 1 out of 1 million molecules in the serum is squalane. I think it’s deceptive to put “Squalane” in the name of a product that contains very little of it. You can search Amazon for pure squalane oil and find that 100% squalane oil (from olives) isn't much more expensive than this product. Squalane, by the way, is the more stable form of the molecule squalene. Squalene makes up around 12% of the oils in sebum, the oily and waxy substance that your face naturally produces. Therefore, squalane is very compatible with your skin, which is why I was initially interested in this product. So, if squalane isn’t a major ingredient, what is? From the list you can see that glycerin is the number two ingredient. Glycerin is a humectant and is a very old drug store remedy for dry skin. In fact, you can still buy glycerin at the drug store for less than $1.50/ounce. Based on the ingredient list, the behavior of the serum (look at all the trapped bubbles in my photo) and my experience with glycerin, that’s pretty much all this serum contains along with hyaluronic acid. Are there really 8 types of hyaluronic acid (HA) in this serum? From a chemical standpoint there are probably many more, since HA is a polymer of different lengths, but that won’t make a difference to your skin. For instance, there’s both sodium hyaluronate and hydrolyzed sodium hyaluronate, with hydrolyzed version being cut into smaller pieces. There’s sodium hyaluronate and potassium hyaluronate, but the difference between sodium and potassium (counterions) here is not making a difference on how the rest hyaluronate behaves. In short, this is just marketing and there’s no functional difference for all the different versions of hyaluronate and hyaluronic acid. As a final chemistry lesson, hyaluronate is hyaluronic acid---after it’s lost its acidic proton (which gets replaced by sodium or potassium). Overall, for what this serum is---which is just glycerin---I’d have to say that I’m disappointed. It’s not a bad formula, but it’s not revolutionary either. 1.69 ounces of glycerin will cost less than $2 at the drug store, so why should I pay over $25 for it here? This product is 99% pure marketing.

Absolutely love this serum. It doesn’t feel tacky and dries down nicely. Very hydrating when applied on top of a watery toner
