Great for computer use
I'm using this to connect my computer to a cheap stereo amp. Works great in Windows, no drivers needed, gets the full 32bit/384kHz. I was considering getting a full fledged external smsl dac, but I'm only using it for computer and this is much better than the on-board audio out.

Durable
Love it and it doesn’t reduce volume like some others I’ve tried

Great sound for the price! Do something else for power
Sound is fantastic using spotify, iphone 15, and OneOdio A70 lowend speakers. Compared to AAC bluetooth, these headphones really shine!MUCH better than Apple USB C to 3.5 - twice as good? Listen to Let if Be by Bill Withers, and you hear clapping and all kinds of bass - no eq app required whatsoever. I will add higher quality headphones later, these sound terrific now. Why pay apple $9 when a few bucks more gives far superior sound? Quibbles: no eq, I dont care about charging. Maybe a T connect option?

Has some quirks, but it works
Momma said not to buy a product with no written reviews, but I didn't listen to momma and took a shot with this product since it is presented as an upgraded version of another popular model. What like: general look and feel is of reasonably good quality especially for the price point. Also, the audio is clean and clear on my AKG earbuds. The microphone does work, unlike some other products. The controls on the earbud cable also work, unlike some other products. The packaging is fancy, but I am not sure the product quite lives up to the expectations raised by the packaging. What needs improvement: the cable strain relief is better than none at all, but has some places where it could be improved. When the adapter is first plugged into the phone, it asks the user to select an app for the usb device and pulls up two apps on my phone which are used to view a camera. Hmm, does this thing have a camera on it somewhere? Probably not, but Android thinks it does.Note, as others have found with similar products:1. Yes, the music stops when you unplug it. I think this is a function of android or something, not the fault of the device.2. If you are going to charge while using earbuds, plug in both the power and the earbuds before you plug the adapter into the phone. The phone knows better what to do that way.Bottom line:If you treat the cables with any level of respect and can get over the quirk about the phone asking which camera app to use when plugging it in, you may be satisfied with this product.

Power charging port failed and stopped audio port from functioning if both were connected.
The charging port of this adapter did not function for me and actually shut down the audio port when a charging cable was attached. Nor were the troubleshooting options given on the Amazon return suggestion pages applicable, except for one I had already tried and failed with (resetting my device by a full shut down). So, back It goes, although my opinion is it needs to go into electronics recycling, it would save Amazon shipping costs.

Okay not durable
A good product it works well it’s durability is lacking there’s a piece of rubber between the cable and the usbc connection and it broke the first day I started using it I take it to school and use studio headphones so was really hopeing it would be more durable and the material feels somewhat cheap but it all works as intended

Out performs most apple gadget onboard DAC even from previous generations focussed on musicians!
So. A few weeks back. I unintentionally tried working out with my 96khz bluetooth headphones. I felt something didn’t sound “usual”. I had just recently bought the iPhone 16 Pro max, and had used 11 pro max for quite some time. I thought it was a fluke, connected the same wireless to the 1st Gen Apple Watch Ultra, to my surprise; the Apple watch had a better DAC. Tried my 1 gen iPad Pro, that too still had better audio quality vs the iPhone 16 Pro Max. I mean, you would think the iPhone 16 Pro max would have “Pro” audio quality. Too bad! So to prove my theory I went and bought this item. FINALLY! My iPhone 16 Pro sounds PRO! Oh…I did also test the items through lightning/wired connections. Since there was nothing I could do about the onboard DAC of the iPhone 16 Pro Max, I still wanted to hear the usual quality from my other older devices. This did more than what I expected. Maybe Apple should stick this DAC into their phones!
