I really like it! Started reading lots of books after I bought it which is good for people who get bored from books. Only problem is the updates, which might be annoying as some of them have bugs. Overall its good:)

I’ve been contemplating about upgrading to the latest Paperwhite for several weeks. My old standard Kindle 10th generation is alive and well, even the battery still lasts weeks. I was trying to be e-waste cognizant, thinking that I don’t really need to change, etc. But with the Thanksgiving promotion, I decided to pull the trigger. … Feels like a step-change! Haven’t noticed any drawbacks yet, frankly. Despite some reviews I did not notice any un-uniformity of the light. Warm light is a huge difference for you eyes if you like to read in the dark. The loading speed and page turning finally feels like more or less modern technology, not the XX-century. It’s swift, almost no delay and even has slight animation). Wireless charging! You can now charge almost everything on the single q-charger. USB-C is also there and charges very fast, mine went from 41% to 87% in ~20 minutes. The screen is noticeably crisper, pictures are finally pictures, not a blurred grey spot. Oh, and don’t worry about the size-the difference is there, but I’d call it negligible. I went for the Signature edition, as the price difference is not that high. If you’re still hesitating, don’t! You won’t regret it!

الجهاز ممتاز للقراءة، مريح للعين وافضل من القراءة من الايباد، حجمه جدااا ممتاز حجم الكتاب العادي، وزنه جدا خفيف ومريح، الشحنة الوحده تمشي كم يوم على حسب الاستخدام، احمل منه ملفات الكتب باستخدام التطبيق او الموقع مو لازم اشترك او اشتري الكتب، جدا انصح شراءه

Fue un regalo de navidad y es el mejor regalo que cualquier persona lectora podria recibir. Funciona perfectamente, la personalizacion esta bien, poder cambiar las fuentes y el tamaño para mayor comodidad, yo prefiero que sea lo mas parecido a un libro fisico. Solia leer en mi teléfono y el cambio es mucho, me es mas comodo a la vista y no me cansa a comparación con la pantalla del teléfono, la luz calida y el modo oscuro de verdad te ayuda en la noche. Si la recomiendo mucho, es mejor que estar gastando mucho dinero en libros que al final ni puedes leer en otros lugares que no sean en casa, este es mas ligero y fácil de llevar a todos lados 🫶🏼

لو بتدور على بديل حقيقي عن قراءة الكتب الورقية، فالجهاز ده هو الأمثل بالنسبة لك. أنا قبل ما أشتري الجهاز ده كنت فاكره زيه زي الموبايل لكن بشاشة أكبر. مكنتش متخيل ان تكنولوجيا الشاشة نفسها مختلفة تماما عن الموبايل. هي مصممة بحيث تكون شبه ورقة الكتاب جدا لدرجة إني افتكرت الصورة المحطوطة على الشاشة أول ما فتحت الجهاز صورة ورقية، وحاولت أشيلها بإيدي ،لغاية ما فهمت انها صورة إلكترونية مش حقيقية. للدرجة دي الشاشة شبيهة بالورق، هي مضيئة بشكل مريح جدا للعين من غير السطوع اللي بيطلع من شاشة الموبايل. كمان ملمس الشاشة كأنك لامس ورقة كتاب مش شاشة إلكترونية. المميزات: 1. هتبقى ماشي وشايل مكتبتك كلها في إيدك. وزن خفيف جدا 200 جرام عمرك ما هتتعب من شيل الجهاز وانت بتقرا. وممكن تشتريله ستاند وتحطه قدامك من غير ما تشيله خالص 2. مش شرط تشتري كتب،ممكن تحط كتبك عن طريق رفعها على حسابك في كيندل 3. كل الروايات والكتب العربية موجودة في سوق أمازون من أول نجيب محفوظ لغاية أحمد مراد وباقي المعاصرين. وأسعار مناسبة جدا 4. في قاموس إنجليزي / إنجليزي وترجمة لأي كلمة للغة العربية 5. تحكم كامل في حجم الخط ونوعه وفي إضاءة الشاشة وفي الخلفية لو عايزها سوداء مع نص أبيض أو بيضاء مع نص أسود 6. ممكن بل من الأفضل انك تشتريله سكرينة واقية من الكسر وجراب بيفتح ويقفل عليه زي الكتاب. وزي ما قلنا الاستاند برضه خيار متاح انك تشتريه وتسنده عليه العيوب: 1. لحد وقت كتابة الريفيو ده للأسف أمازون مش بتتيح لمصر الاشتراك في كيندل أنليميتيد، وده اشتراك شهري بيديلك آلاف الروايات والكتب مجانا تقراها طول مانت مشترك. 2. الشاشة مفهاش ألوان، هو أبيض واسود بس،لكن ده له سبب انك متتعرضش للأشعة اللي بتطلع من شاشة الموبايل وبتسبب الأرق وضعف البصر مع الوقت 3. الجهاز هيخليك تندم انك اشتريت وصرفت فلوس على كتب ورقية، لأنه بديل حقيقي أفضل من الكتاب الورقي، وهيخليك تبيع أو تتبرع بكتبك الورقية اللي صرفت عليها دم قلبك وجمعتها على مدى سنين طويلة. باختصار أنا لو في إيدي إني أوفر جهاز لكل شخص كنت عملت كده. وخصوصا للأجيال الجديدة اللي نفسها تقرأ. لأنه مش بس بديل عن الكتاب الورقي،لأ ده كمان هيبعد الشباب عن الموبايل والنوتيفيكيشن والسوشيال ميديا وإدمانها لأنه هيخليك تركن الموبايل على جنب عشان تقرأ. يعني علاج هايل لمدمني السوشيال ميديا لأنه كأنك ماسك موبايل بس مفهوش غير كتب وبس.

Comprei o Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition de 32 GB acreditando que precisaria de muito espaço, mas depois de usar percebi que 16 GB já seriam mais do que suficientes para a maioria das pessoas. Mesmo assim, o desempenho é impecável: rápido, leve, confortável para longas leituras e com bateria que dura muito. Para quem não tem hábito de leitura, ele ajuda bastante. A tela é suave, não cansa os olhos e realmente incentiva a ler mais. Outro ponto importante é o tamanho: escolhi o modelo de 7 polegadas e, para mim, foi a melhor compra. O texto fica mais espaçado, a leitura flui melhor e sinto que consigo ler mais rápido e com mais foco. No geral, é um dispositivo excelente. Se você está em dúvida, pode comprar sem medo — principalmente se busca criar ou fortalecer o hábito da leitura.

I LOVE MY NEW KINDLE!! Its significantly and instantly noticeably heavier than my older Kindle so I no longer have to worry about it being swept away by a breeze while I’m reading which is a relief as I have weaker hands than I used to and don’t want to get up and run around the yard chasing my Kindle when all I want to do is read. Its also HEAPS OF FUN to use because its not like my old 4th Gen Kindle that required only one hand to use and could only be used to download and read books, but this new Kindle has HEAPS of really cool menu’s to navigate including flip from the top and flip from the bottom menus so YOU ALWAYS NEED TO INVEST TWO HANDS TO USE like flipping a page or going back to your home screen or into your library and selecting a new book which is WAY MORE FUN because is feels as if you were playing some sort of game on an iPad which is super awesome because I really love playing on the iPad. The other thing I love about it is that it uses a lot of power so it means you always need to remember where it is so you can keep an eye on it while it charges which is super fantastic because I don’t like leaving it places and then forgetting about it and then I’m afraid that I might get bored of reading because I forgot where it was and no longer feel like reading. So yeah, all round I’m just so super happy with my investment of $400 for this kindle because its heavier, more fun, more interactive, requires both hands to operate at all times and uses more power because its more powerful and therefore better. Keep bringing out more fantastic and better kindles Amazon. May I personally recommend introducing a new line each and every single year because a device that is used to download and read books is important to stay abreast of that latest technological developments lest it should fall behind and not be able to display books one day.
