Good value Joystick
This is a great Fight stick for anyone who prefers not to use a gamepad. It works with every system , easy to setup and easy to get going with you're chosen console/pc. Comes with an octagonal gate fitted and a spare one in the box. Can be switched between D-pad and X/Y control , so easy to switch between games. Plus it's only 90 quid. Great bit of kit for those that don't want to drop 200 quid on the Pro sticks.

Excellent controller
Excellent , I bought this after seeing an Article for C64 (Commodore Emulation) games and it being recommended works well for All games that require a Joystick (haven't tried it with Joytokey yet but see no reason why it would not work, all i all very pleased

Excellent
Got this because I was fed up of playing guilty gear with a gamepad a messing up all my moves. After a little research this seemed to be one of the cheapest options with high quality parts. Worked right out the box on PC with no setup, feels great to use, and my word fighting games instantly became so much easier to play that I don't know how I ever managed without it

Solid build but with potential stick issues
I have been using cheapest-of-the-cheap sticks for quite a while now and with the release of Street Fighter 6 I thought I'd try something a little better. The F300 Elite is still considered a budget controller (whose budget - lol) but it contains Sanwa parts - the same as the more expensive brands. First impressions were very good - it's not a particularly aesthetically pleasing item but it feels really sturdy - almost industrial. Coming from cheap controllers I was surprised how light the buttons were - very little pressure and motion is needed to register a press. This could be a challenge if you're used to leaving your finger over a button. Compatibility is excellent. It works out of the box with PC and Switch (I have a Lite which tested fine but obviously a bit impractical to use!). Using the passthrough (plugging a native controller into the back of the MayFlash) I also tested PS3, PS4, XBox One, Series S, Xbox 360 - all good. It also works on PS5 for PS4 games as long as you've got a Dual Shock 4 knocking about. Stick motion is good and again 'feels' quite light. Unfortunately I just could not pull off a DP/623/Dragon punch (facing right) move consistently - it always felt like I was having to force the stick into the diagonal for it to register. I tried changing the gate to the octagonal one (very simple operation - it just clicks on) and I was having the same issue. I have had no problems with my cheaper sticks in the past - so I don't know if it's just this unit or my muscle memory. Either way it wasn't suiting me so I've sent it back. Awarded 3 stars for the build quality - and assuming the stick is good and you take to it then this is a good buy. -Andy

The Arcade Comes Home!!!
I love the original arcade games making their way onto the Nintendo Switch. But I always miss that arcade feeling of a hardcore stick with real buttons. The Mayflash F300 Elite brings actual arcade (Sanwa) controls into your home. And it’s the business. Top build quality, sturdy and a real arcade stick and buttons. Works seamlessly with the Switch and also Retropi, mac and the C64 Mini. Nemesis, R-Type and Final Fight are a dream to play on this. It’s such a thrill to actually have that genuine arcade control at home. Brilliant!!!

Great for the price.
Great price for what you get which is full sanwa stick/buttons, also very easy to replace stick/buttons.

High quality arcade stick
This is an excellent and well made arcade stick. It's very comfortable to use. The stick and buttons are super responsive. They are Japanese-made arcade quality Sanwa units and should last for many years. It seems very well built generally: solid, no nonsense construction. It comes with 4 and 8 way gates, which are easily interchangeable by removing the bottom plate. It works with a wide range of platforms: I've used it with my PC, PS4 and Switch.

My first arcade stick. The lever and buttons are great. Works on my PC. I played Street Fighter 6 on Steam. But I think the price is a little expensive. Thanks Amazon!

I really love this fight stick! It works really well on a bunch of different platforms, including pretty much all modern platforms from PS3 to Switch! Though if you want to use it on PS5 or Series X games, you'll also need to pick up something like their Magic-S Ultimate Wireless Bluetooth USB Adapter, which I got for use with my PS5. Figuring out how to get it working on each new console, particularly the PS5 is my only complaint with this stick, but after you're working its fantastic. For the record, I did run into a snag where I couldn't use my stick right away, but because of the simple design and easy to understand construction I was quickly able to open up the stick and diagnose the problem. I was missing an internal wire connecting the joystick to the board (see pictures), but I was able to message Mayflash support and they mailed me a replacement cord at no charge, so fixing this was a breeze!! Huge props to them for that. Overall this is a really great stick for a beginner fighting game player who likes to play on a bunch of different platforms. I love that the face-plate can be easily switched out for something custom later, and the weight and feel of the stick is just right, balancing affordability with quality, and the Sanwa parts here are a great touch. Thanks for making such a great fighting stick, you can tell my kitties love it too!

Arcade sticks are hard to learn. You have to relearn all the muscle memory, where everything is, and it will be frustrating. Could even take a long time to get fully comfortable. Did for me. Now I can't go back. But it's worth it. Not only do you stand out from everyone else rocking their dualshocks, not only do you can you use the same fightstick for every game on (just about) every console, but it also convinces you that you're a better player than you are. You aren't. I had to learn that the hard way. But that's okay. As the title (a quote stolen from Maximilian Dood) says, if you have a touch of derringdo, then definitely consider it. Arcade sticks are the most tactile way to pay fighting games. Slamming the stick, slapping the buttons. Sounds and feels excellent. Solid construction, quality parts, wide compatibility, the only minor gripe is the aesthetics, but you can always slap on a skin. Can also fit on your lap comfortably. This size is the perfect middle ground, as it's not cramped to use, and the portability is passable (considering).
