After reading all the reviews before hand. There was concern over the lack of sealing in some of the reviews. Since I needed this due to the large amount of fishing I have been doing, I went for it. This sealer and fishing require patience. Once it stops and light goes off don’t open it. Give it a few seconds and you get a perfect a perfect vacuum seal.

I read the reviews, but figured, it couldn’t be that bad. Well, it is. I can get a better vacuum from using a straw. The seal is also so, so. I gave it 5 tries and tried both moist and hard. Neither one worked. I am returning it. Why Amazon continues to sell something that is so often returned, is baffling. Who eats all of those shipping charges?

Apparently it’s to late to return but I have no only uses this twice and it stopped sealing the bags! I should still be able to return this as it hasn’t been long since buying it.... I mean some ppl don’t use products every day after they get an item, terrible product and company!!! No help or customer service help

I have used vacuum sealers before, without much success. When my boyfriend started fishing offshore again, we bought a freezer and needed a vacuum sealer, this was the one Amazon recommended. Works great, this is the first time I was ever told to use a paper towel with unfrozen meat/fish, thank you Geryon for the clear, concise instructions. I also like the idea of making a "chain" of attached bags.

UPDATE 7/23/2020: After some research, I learned this problem could be caused by dirty gaskets, so I removed them, rinsed them with water and reinserted. Works like a charm! They do sell replacement gaskets, but they are a different shape than the ones on this machine, so I don't know if they would work. But I am back in business and still happy with this machine!UPDATE 7/5/2020: 2 years and about 600 sealed bags later, the machine no longer automatically seals after vacuuming. It will just keep sucking. You can manually press the seal button and it will seal, but you will lose most of the vacuum. I still have to research and troubleshoot, and will update again if I find anything helpful. Sadly, the price has now just about doubled, so I will be looking for a different sealer if I can't get this one to work. It had a pretty good run, though.This works great with the bags that are included. They also tell you what kind of bags will work if you want to buy another brand, but I have not tried anything than what came with the sealer. It is easy to use and quick. The seal seems solid and the vacuum works well. However, I have not had much luck sealing bags other than those designed for the machine (like chip bags), I don't know if the bags are too wrinkled or what, but the seal is often incomplete in the middle. Hopefully as I get used to how the machine works, I will have better luck with other types of bags. I would definitely recommend this machine, though, as it is does exactly what I bought it for (vacuum sealing meat for freezing) at a great price.

I had one of these machines from a well known company for about 10 years and it finally quit working. I bought a new one from the same company and it was junk. This one was highly rated in a bunch of articles from different magazines, so I gave it a try. Wow. It's amazing! Pretty quiet (unlike my other one) and has great suction. There's a trough that you have to put the end of the bag in, or it won't work. Took me a couple tries to figure that out. Also, make sure you press down HARD on both sides of the machine when you close it. Don't worry... you won't break it lol. Totally worth the money

I went to a store to look at vacuum sealers and was amazed at how much they want for the brand name sealers. I ordered a cheaper unit from Amazon. The delivery was fast as the sealer arrived the next day. When I opened the box I was surprised how well it looked. However, I had never seen a sealer before that you could spin on a marble countertop. As I was looking at the unit discovered that the bottom was warped so much I could use this a spinner. I contacted Amazon return and had a replacement sent. The next morning I returned the defective unit via the agreed procedure and received the replacement unit later that day. WOW! what speedy service.I put the new GERYON Vacuum Sealer to work to see what it does. With the expectation that a clone deice may not work like a Food Saver product I put the GERYON to the test. This unit for the price is pretty well built and the buttons are touch sensitive and very responsive. The included sealer bags are enough to get you started which is a nice feature to help get acquainted with the sealing processes. My first few bags did not seal properly until I inset the bags farther into the unit. Once I got the hang of how things work the process was easier and quick. The vacuum air levels are sufficient for my needs at this point and have not presented an issue for me.If you are uncertain as to what to do if you are looking for a Vacuum Sealer as a beginner definitely give this once a try as everything you need is in the box ready to go. You simply cannot afford to not give this a try as you do get a lot of bang for the buck in the box.

It was delivered to me on 18th October 2021 after 15 days of delivery it has stopped working.Sach an expensive stuff is worthless.

The sealing button not working also it's not sealing the packet.

This is the worst product I have purchased from Amazon. Never ever buy this. My money has gone into drain. Never used even once.
