Great product to color resin.
I use the Rainbow Orange Mica Powder Pigment to cast a resin donut that I then turn on my lathe into a bracelet. The first thing to figure out was how much pigment to use to get the color I wanted. First time I underestimated the amount (used a scan qtr tsp in about 4 oz of mixed resin) and ended up with a translucent bracelet. Nice, but I wanted a solid color. I've settled on a half tsp in 5-6 oz of mixed resin. Color is great with a very nice pearl look. I really like this product and have ordered a second color. If I find I need more colors, I'm sure I will look for these Mica Powder Pigments first. Picture attached shows my first attempts. The bracelet with the black mark in it (if the picture is upright, it is the bottom right one; however, in the preview it looks like the picture may be sidewise) is wood (pecan) that is dyed orange. The others are resin with the orange mica powder pigment for color.

Eye Candy pigments never disappoint!!
As always Eye Candy pigments are amazing!! They dissolve into my resin and the selection of colors is fantastic! I used orange to make these “tequila sunrise “wineglasses. I highly recommend this company if you work with resin.

Stunning color and effect.
This is pricey but the color was gorgeous and there is a lot of the powder in the container. I definitely want to buy more colors from this brand.

More bang for your buck
Kakiiro Orange is a great color to use if you are making honey-scented soaps like the ones I made in this photo. (I do melt and pour soaps as a hobby, not for profit.) I really wanted a deep, almost animated-version of orange to give my honey-scented soaps a real fantastic pop of color. There is real honey in my soap but it wasn’t enough to change the color of the soap base, so the mica powder really came in handy for that. I had no issues blending it in with my soap base, the soap accepted the powder very well and evenly throughout. Also WOW the container is big and filled to the tippity-top with mica powder. Be careful when opening as you do not want to get it all over. Make sure it’s sitting on a flat surface when you rotate the lid open, and do it slowly as doing it too fast may stir up the powder in the air. Also this color is well-concentrated, a little goes a LONG way. I can see myself using from this container for a very long time, which is good because I love making honey soap! It smells so nice and keeps my skin moisturized and clean. 🧼 Now that it’s colored it looks even more vibrant and fun to share with my family members and friends!
