Purchased these 4 years ago and still look like new! Gold does not wear away.

This is a beautiful set! It is medium to almost light weight, but not in a cheap feeling in the hand kind of way. The edges are nice and smooth as opposed to some rough cut silverware that you would find in some cheaper restaurants. I haven’t owned the set for very long and only handwash all of my dishes. So far there is no sign of fade or wear. There can be some water spots if they air dry, but that doesn’t bother me, as I know they are clean and would come out the same if washed in a dishwasher (but may wear faster). If I really feel the pressure to have spotless flatware, I’ll guess I would hand dry them. While I have not had an issue, Berglander appears to stand behind its products. They included a quality guarantee certificate that looks and feels similar to a credit card, with an individual number on it. The silverware came in a rather small, relatively plain, slightly dated box compared to anything you would find in a store. I do not have an issue with the packaging whatsoever, but I had seen some reviews where people marked a product down one or more stars because the packaging basically wasn’t a display case. Whether the set is for yourself or a gift, don’t mark it down because of the packaging. No one but miserable people with nothing better to complain about will give a rip about the packaging in a very short amount of time. There is contact information stating to use it if there are any issues with quality. I am including pics of the set, the warranty certificate card, and the packaging. Overall, I am very happy with this set and would buy again.

Looks great, weight is good and NOT dishwasher safe! Guests accidentally put them in the dishwasher and the black coating is peeling off.

I’ve had my set for almost 3 years and the vanish has only started fading in the last year. None have peeled paint at all. And I have been VERY hard on them. I run them in the dishwasher very often and I’ve left them soaking in water overnight. I’ve gotten so many compliments on how beautiful the rose gold is. I really don’t think you can beat the quality for the price. 10/10 recommend

I purchased a set several months ago and used it infrequently. All appeared to be fine. I decided to purchase another set and before ordering double checked that it was dishwasher safe. It’s been a month since the second order and the gold finish is wearing off. They do NOT get heavy use at all - only 1 person is using them!DO NOT PURCHASE!UPDATE: Returned both sets but Amazon can’t seem to find my first order so I only received 1 refund.I also contacted the manufacturer via the Amazon web site. No response.

I first ordered these in 2020. The tips finally showed wear with some of the color coming off on more used pieces like forks. So I purchased several sets again. We use them as our every day flatware although they are pretty enough to be the "Sunday best" set! We put them in the dishwasher

I bought two sets of these back in May 2021. They have been used as the main utensils on a daily basis ever since. I and my four children 10yrs to 17 yrs use them. They have been dropped and scooted and used to stir things and they get cleaned in a dishwasher every day. The color is still the same as when i got them, they aren’t scratched or peeling or fading in any way. They are well-balanced, have a good weight, not bulky and are very sturdy. None have bent yet. They look good as a place setting. One funny thing is when my mom came to visit, she kept thinking they were plastic ware and was surprised they weren’t every time she picked them up.I highly recommend these!
