Underrated value
I have used pneumatic tire changers in the past, but used this on my first go with changing tires manually on tire stand. I did fabricate my own tool to assist with removing and installing a tire with pneumatic duck head, and used this to hold the bead so I could work my way around on the last bead. It's like having a third hand and wouldn't attempt to do a tire without it. It will become your most valuable asset in putting on a tire, especially in the case of lower profile and/or larger rim diameter tires. I highly recommend this to anyone needing a hand in changing tires, it will make your life a lot easier!

Works really well for motorcycle ties too !!
I used this product to mound tires on a SV650 and a DL650. It puts the tire bead right into the center of the rim for east of install when I'm spooning on tires.The product does click right into the rim lip and holds on till you unlock it.Just soap it up like the rest of the tire and it will sit there happily as a 3rd hand holing the bead in the center of the rim.

Works great!
There are some wheels this will not work on (those with chrome wheel inserts that are sloped to the edge of the rim). On normal aluminum wheels it works great. I use two of these to keep the tire bead in the well of the wheel when mounting low profile tires. Ruin one tire like I did and you could buy quite few of these. Don't learn the hard way!

Do not make it any harder than it already is seat the beads
I have found that mounting tires at home is always much easier with this nifty little tool. Several people claim an improvised tool will do the job, (which is sort of true), however, this special clamp along with the proper tire paste change short work of mounting new tires.

it WILL break on you...
cracked at the thin section on the profile after a few months of use. Look at other brands, thisnarea is thicker. Seller did not respond to my request for a replacement, so 1 star. It WILL break on you...

This is the extra skilled set of hands you need to mount those stubborn low profile tires!... they won't pop off with this on it...I just tried it...and 5 stars

Tire bead clamp
I purchased this clamp for use on a motorcycle tire changer. The clamp works exactly as advertised but is a little large for motorcycle tires. However, with a little effort in the application, the clamp worked fine. Recommended
