A generous variety of gorgeous colorways
I have bought twelve different Elegant Yarns Kaleidoscope color-ways. None has disappointed me. Each one is a delightful surprise. Surprise because the skein image can't always show the whole color scheme. But they are beautifully designed. I wonder who is the designer. Well done! I am using this yarn for felting projects. It works well in the hand, solf and yielding. It felts perfectly for me. A few of the skeins had a knot or two, but most didn't . Also, the name of the color on the page is not on the yarn wrapper, and the number on the wrappper is not on the page. Keep track! I should write this review for each color I bought because there doesn't seem to be a main Kaleidoscope page.

Very nice yarn, but warning: more colors than shown in photo
Very beautiful colors, but I uploaded a photo of the yarn from the top because the stock photo doesn't give the true range of colors. There are also some blue and teal shades deeper in. They are very nice colors too, just made it not work for the original project I had in mind.The photo does a good job of indicating the texture of the yarn. It is on the soft side, though I do have other wool yarns that are quite a bit softer (though they were also more expensive).

Really thick and fuzzy. I tried to knit a lace scarf with it and it ended up a thick fuzzy blob. Also it is way more colors than pictured here.

Extra Colors
Colors aren't as pictured. MY Customer was not happy with the extra colors either.

The colors were beautiful! It made a gorgeous scarf for my daughter! Keep in mind there are more colors that are not visible in this picture. There was a bit of aquamarine in mine.

Not what you will receive.
The color of this yarn looks real nice but it is not the color that you will receive. I see plum, lavender, and kacki. I received yarn that was purple, green, and teal. NOT GOOD.
