Star Trek Prometheus - The Root of All Rage

With the current lull in Star Trek novel publication, I am generally very happy that there is a new series available. Regarding this new series, while I understand that some readers take issue with the continued presence of Spock on the Prometheus, and perhaps another Vulcan character could have been envisioned, I don't find it too distracting to the point that I did not enjoy the first two novels. On the contrary, I enjoyed the interaction between Spock and Alexander Rozhenko.Overall the series so far presents an intriguing premise and the Renao is a fascinating species. The sociocultural allusions are quite obvious, yet I find the storyline to be well conceived. At times the English narrative seems repetitive, but that could be due to the English translation from German. However, kudos to translator Helga Parmiter for capturing the nuances of the Star Trek universe in the English language. Indeed, I am grateful that there is such a strong German readership; it very well may have saved the novel franchise.Finally, one major issue I would like to point out is that this crew reminds me very much of the crew of the Titan series. However, it's not a major distraction for me and it could be considered to be quite logical, given that the Star Trek universe is pushing ahead with its focus on diversity.I look forward to the third book.

No action boring why even bother writing this story. Typical long winded and no character build up. Kirk's niece was a waste too.

I love your work and I love the USS Priometheus I have eaglemoss ship but I don't get mag with it just the ship and and the stand. I hope they come out with Eltrontic starship of the USS Promethues Class starship that would be awesome..

Plot seems to drag at times,then picks back up.Shows federation and Klingons have a long way to go. Like the premise of the Prometheus.
