Great product
I have used other pomades and they are good but this one is the best yet for me, it is easier to wash off the hands and its consistency is lovely.I have noticed a lovely shine too and it works into the hair nicely, and obviously being a real Pomade it lasts, I love the design on the tin too.I am going to use this all the time now.

A great medium oil based pomade
Like many others, I purchased this Suavecito pomade after reading a lot of the positive reviews on Amazon, and watching countless reviewer videos on YouTube.Having previously tried most of Suavecito’s other products, I was initially sceptical about this pomade’s promised finish, simply due to the fact that their water based products (although offering a high hold and decent shine), tend to set like concrete and leave the hair feeling a lot like straw. The thing I love the most about this pomade is that it feels incredibly light in your hair, especially when compared to many other oil based pomades I have tried over the years. A little really does go a long way, I can see this tin lasting me at least 6-12 months. In terms of hold and shine, this is definitely a ‘Medium’ hold, as advertised. The pomade comes in a lovely stylishly designed tin, which is a noticeably different design to Suavecito’s other products, which gives the pomade a nice old timey 1950’s vibe to it.The pomade is incredibly easy to apply to your hair and work through with a comb. As with any great oil based pomade, you can easily grab your comb throughout the day and re-work or re-style as required. To top it off, it has a lovely fresh scent that is noticeable throughout the day, but not overpowering.Overall, I could not have been happier with this purchase.Definitely 5 stars from me :-)

Brilliant
This is by far the best pomade on the market. My husband has tried dozens in the past and this is the only one that holds his vintage pomp well and it's very long lasting. A small amount will go far. It smells good too. My husband said it is very hard to remove from his hair however.

Good, Very Expensive not as high hold as you would expect.
I’ve tried a LOT of pomades over the last two years. This rates in the top 10 of what I have tried.Pros: Good hold once you put enough in; nice smell, washes out easily with conditionerCons: Very expensive for the amount you have to use to get a good hold - it probably won’t last me the month; Doesn’t hold as well as I had expected.

Perfect
At last I have found the perfect hair dressing! Tried many over the years and this is by far the best for me. Feels great, looks great, smells great! Apply sparingly to dry hair, ( oil based dressing and water don’t mix) more of a nice sheen than a shine, holds well throughout the day, and can comb through again in the evening for a tidy up and freshen up without adding any more. Well pleased!

Smells great, and nice Greaser style shine!
Great product, I think I prefer it to the original Suavecito pomade, has a nice shine and not as tough to remove as you would think.

Very overrated
I have wavy 2B type hair which is quite dry. As a result I have been using various hair products for many years to keep my hair manageable and promote hair health. I have a few which are "tried and true" like DAX green pomade but I am always on the lookout for other products which might make the task of managing my hair a little easier.I was initially drawn to this pomade by the badass design on the tin and the high reviews it got from others. When it was finally in my hands, the first thing that shocked me about the pomade was the ingredients, with just three of them being 1) petrolatum, 2) microcrystalline wax, and 3) fragrance. So essentially, this pomade is made up of nothing more than petroleum jelly and and de-oiled patroleum jelly (which is what microcrystalline wax is). This is in stark contrast to the many other hair pomades which I've used which usually include a range of different oils (coconut, castor, olive, etc) and other ingredients such as lanolin or clays which are designed to promote hair health and control... absolutely none of which are present in Suavecito pomade, which is instead made up of a mere two very similar substances. This seems VERY unreasonable, given the price tag of over £15.The result of this is when I apply Suavecito to my hair as I would any other pomade, my hair remained dry and difficult to comb through, with lots of hair breaking off in the process, and no gloss or healthy look which would be present after using other pomades. The only positive I can mention about this product is the smell. It has a cheap cologne scent, which is not incredible but probably the best "masculine" scent that I've smelled on a pomade so far.I do not plan to use this product any further as it is not healthy for my hair and will continue to damage it if I continue using it. I will admit I was suckered in by the cool artwork on the can and the frankly inexplicable rave reviews from other customers.Regretful purchase. Do NOT recommend.
