This was a life saver....Only needed it for a couple of weeks but it really helps swinging you leg in and out of bed or in and out of a car. Is stiff so you can get your foot in it.

Loved this product. Just what I needed after hip replacement. I have a tall bed and needed help lifting my surgical leg onto the mattress. This lifter was easy to use because of the stiff wire inside of it. I was able to sit on my bed, guide the loop at the end of the lifter onto my foot with my leg extended, and gently lift and guide my leg onto the bed. Wish I’d ordered it before my surgery instead of several days into recovery. It really was helpful in my ability to help myself, rather than relying on assistance at bedtime.

This is a great tool for anyone with stiff joints had a recent knee replacement or just doesn't have the strength to lift your leg up for those high SUVs. Works good, just wish the flat part of where your foot goes in the triangle was a little sturdier it would be easier to get on. But a great invention.

You wouldn’t think that such a low tech device as this could make so much difference to your life. I recently (8 weeks ago) had hip replacement surgery. Getting in and out of bed the first few weeks was a seriously painful challenge. On the advise of a friend, I got this leg lifter. It made all the difference. The very first time I used it, I realized it would change the course of my recovery because I no longer had to wait for help to get in and out of bed, or put off doing that out of wanting to avoid pain. With this simple strap, you’ll be able to painlessly lift your leg to help with getting out of bed, getting into and out of cars, and even though I didn’t have to use it with a wheelchair I can’t see any reason why it wouldn’t be just as helpful with that task. I highly recommend this product.

I HAD ORDERED A LEG LIFTER LAST YEAR. IT LOOKED EXCATELY LIKE THE PICTURE. WHEN I GOT IT, SEVERAL STITCHES POPPED OFF IMMEDIATELY. I KEPT IT BECAUSE I NEEDED IT EVEN WITH THE DEFECTIVE STITCHING. I SAW THE PICTURE ON THIS ONE AND THOUGHT IT WAS THE SAME THING SO I ORDERED TWO. THE NEW ONES ARE AWFUL. THEY CAME FOLDED UP INTO FOURTHS. IF YOU HAVE WEAK HANDS FROM ARTHRITIS, YOU CAN'T UNFOLD THEM ALONE. THEN WHEN MY FRIEND UNFOLDED ONE, THE FOOT LOOP IS SO SMALL, I COULD NOT EVEN GET THE TOE OF MY SHOE IN IT. THE WIRE BENDS SO EASY IT IS USELESS. THEY ARE GOING BACK. THE ONE THAT I HAD ORDERED BEFORE AT LEAST CAME IN A LONG BOX AND WAS FULLY EXTENDED. THIS IS SO CHEAP. ANYONE WHO REALLY NEEDS A LEG LIFTER, NEEDS ONE THAT IS SAFE AND SECURE. THESE ARE A JOKE.

I love the idea of having several handles to grip on this lifter, unlike the others I've had. The only problem is that the bottom loop where you put your foot in is significantly smaller than the others I've tried. If you are barefoot or wearing a sandal, it's fine, but bulkier sneakers just don't really fit in very well, and I'm talking about a women's size 9. For guys with large feet, I doubt that bottom loop would fit with shoes/sneakers on. I will definitely be able to use it on my porch in the summer when I'm barefoot and want to lift my foot up onto the footrest, but will keep the other style for in my car when I'm wearing sneakers.

My sister is handicap and I've bought two of these. She uses it multiple times a day and it helps her a lot.
