MaxellCd-R Printable Recordable Disc, 700 Mb/80 Min, 48x, Spindle, Matte White, 100/pack

These CDs cost less than the Verbatim brand (which are excellent) and appear to be just as good. I've had 100% success with both the recording side (data and music) and the printing side. I strongly recommend using printable CDs for labeling. Lightscribe is dead (too costly and slow) and paper stick-on labels require too much manual effort, are expensive, and dangerous (the glue will eventually give out).May 22, 2012 ...I have now used, and re-ordered these CDs, many times. For some reason, Amazon will not package them to arrive safely. Many of the reviews state the same problems. The cases and spindles arrive broken.In spite of that, I've never had a bad CD. But I have lowered my rating from 5 to 3 stars because of the chronic shipping problems. With so many reviewers experiencing the same issue, why hasn't Amazon gotten the message?I will continue to order these CDs when the price is low. It fluctuates widely, so check back often to try to catch it when the price is down (I've see it as low as $15.99). Save any intact spindles and cases you manage to get, you'll need them to use in place of the majority that arrive broken. If you can't wait and the Verbatims are near the same price, go with those.

These are low cost but high performance CD-Rs. The packaging is adequate. Sometimes the spindle can crack away at the base when so many CD-Rs are packed unto it. Forutnately, these were fine. The ink from my Disc Painter adheres wells to the surface. However for best results, you should allow the ink to dry properly before attemping to use the CDs.The under-side of these discs are silver with only the slightest tinge of green on them. The hub of these CD-Rs are clear apart from "Maxell" that is screen printed unto them.I think that this is a fine choice if you use blank CD-Rs on a regular basis and want to give them a professional printed look.

I went along and bought these printable blank Cds, for the value. I'm happy with product, I trust them and have performed with no problem. We used them at our church to recording worship and sermons and they worked great. No complaints yet. The only issue was the packaging, the spindles arrived cracked and broken. Had to removed and used our empty spindles in order to stored them. Luckily none of the blank cds came broken. Amazon please work on packaging, items were very loose and had no adequate padding.Otherwise I'm happy with this purchase, but gotta tell you that I found cheaper deal at Sam's. For now I will purchase our blanks from Sam's club.

I studied the title of this for quite some time before buying it because I thought it was a pack of 500 cds...DO NOT BE MISTAKEN LIKE I WAS!! This is only 100 cds. The title makes it extremely confusing, and there is no further help within the description or other customer reviews. This is a single pack of 100 white top cds. On the other hand, the cds are just fine. They are perfectly fine discs, and the price make much more sense now that I know it is only 100. I just wished there was more clarification before I bought them as to the number of them. If you are looking for a decent set of 100 cds, this is great.

Purchased two 100 spindles. Have burned 100 with zero rejects. I like the white surface but a sharpie drags on the surface. Marker will stick and it is harder to write on this surface than plain cd surface or painted surfaces. This a sticker that was meant to be printed on, but for the price I do like the white surface better than the silver of other low cost cd-r's.

Fast shipping, decent product(its cds..). But the way they described the product made it seem like it was more cd rolls than it was. 100 per, 500 pack sounds to me like 5 cd rolls, each with 100 cds on it. But all the same we used them and passed all of them out in the street. So, even though it was misleading information, we were still satisfied with the purchase. Fam Thick

These are standard Maxell 700MB CD-R recordable media with a printable surface for printing labels directly on the media. I have only used a few so far in a new EPSON Artisan 810 and they seem to work fine. Not much to say about features and the like. Delivery was prompt and packaging was good. They seem to be a quality product that is recommendable to others.

For some reason, burning audio CD's is still a fragile process. If any part of the operation is not up to par, you will get audible errors on your CD. I burned CD's using the "slow" setting in Windows Media Player to avoid errors. It seems that every CD I have burned from this bundle has about four errors per CD, on all of five or six CD's. The errors are interpreted by my car's CD player as a small bleep followed by silence for a fraction of a second, with the LCD screen reading "CD Error". It's too bad, because the blank white label side of the CD is great, in my opinion. Strictly speaking, maybe the problem could be my computer's CD burner, but I just really doubt that. These are not CD-RW, they are just CD-R (not rewritable)... not what was described, so couldn't be much more disappointed
