Very cool. One warning - the grip is too narrow to use on a classical or flamenco instrument. It works fine for standard dreadnought or Django style D hole or G hole acoustics. Get the biggest anchor you can find and test it before you screw up your wall. Aluminum studs wont take well to the screw (mine didn't). Either come off the stud and use and anchor or you need to revise your wall. I cut a 2 x 4 inch section of dry wall over the stud out, filled it with plywood which I directly attached to the stud, joint compound, paint and then screw straight into the plywood. Easy to do with hand tools - it just takes a day for the dry time but all the actual work is only about 10 minutes at a time.

Really Cool Idea, Really Bad Execution
I got a few of these bad boys to display my autographed guitar collection in my studio. I was really excited because these look so cool! The hand itself is well made and sturdy but the problem comes with the mounting mechanism, or lack thereof. The mounting kit for this grip consists of one double-sided screw (my professional guess is that the screw was constructed from melted paperclips, but I can't be sure without laboratory testing). One side screws into the hand and the other into the wall. The threading on the hand is equally as cheap, so it'll take you about 2-3 hours to get the cheap threading to line up so you can actually screw the hand side in.Now for the wall! I'm sad to admit that I couldn't successfully mount one of these to the wall, after trying with 3 separate units. The hand is too heavy to use an anchor in drywall (not that they even give you an anchor - you have to find your own that fits), and when trying to screw it into a stud, the screw breaks in half. And mind you, because it's double-sided, you have to screw it into the stud by hand. (no pun intended)They should have made a little mounting plate with two screws that connects to the wall and then that mounting plate could slide into a groove in the hand, so the weight of the guitar keeps it in place. Manufacturer: You're welcome to use that idea - just send me 3 units of the new style when you're done.Good luck on getting a grip!

Outstanding, functional & great looking!
Looks much better in person, hand is a piece of art, rubber like grip holds guitar firmly. Installation tip: unless you have wood stud where you can mount hand, included mounting screw will not work. Purchase toggle bolt(pictured) insert screw in reverse direction thru toggle bolt wings(see photo) & then into hand far enough for wings to open when inserted into hole in your wall. Pull wings against inside of wall while turning hand to tighten. Hand can be tilted slightly either direction to accommodate most guitar necks(see included instructions).

Awesome look. Very sturdy. Couldnt be happier.
These are the coolest guitar hangers ever. Many colors to coordinate with your guitar and will make your room "pop" when you walk in. Great for recording studios or even would be a classy touch in a nice office. These give your guitar PLENTY of space from the wall. The only thing I would recommend is not crank too hard because you could blow out the nut plate inside the hand. Very sturdy as long as you use a stud to anchor. I wish I had more guitars to use all the colors.

Quite interesting!!
This does make a great converstaion piece!! I ordered it for friend and he absolutely loved it. It was packaged well and arrived on time. My only complaint would be that the "paint" covering did chip after a few times of taking the guitar in and out of the hand . . . but still like the whole concept in general and he loved it.

Very Arty Copper Hand
Love this great addition to my wall -- makes me smile to look at it and is a conversation piece.Needed to mount on drywall (no wall stud in the vicinity of where I wanted to hang the guitar), so had to drill a hole and anchor it with a plastic drywall mount. Holds acoustic guitar securely but had to search for a large enough drywall anchor to fit the screw that was included with the hand. No big deal, but it would have been nice to have a drywall anchor included.

I love it but better than that my teenage son loves
My teenage son's bedroom was redecorated last year and I purchased a right and a left hand for his electric and acoustic guitars. The grips are sturdy, attach to the wall easily and are still holding both guitars with no issue. These grips look really cool with a left and a right paired together. I recommend this grip for anyone wanting to display a guitar in a unique way.

Excellent product and value
Birthday present for my son. Received on time. Big party, lots of presents. By far his favorite of all. Excellent value for the money, very well made, padded properly everywhere needed, quality with creativity. Everyone at party plays guitar - believe you will have sales from all with Christmas gift requests from my family members. Will be ordering more soon. So glad I found your website!

Thought the quirkiness of this was great, son-in-law loved it too
Thought the quirkiness of this was great, son-in-law loved it too! He hasn't tried putting it up yet though. I see some reviews say it's difficult. But still love it!

guitar wall hanger
nice heavy weight, very solid construction, looks groovy on the wall. Well designed shape means it will hold any type of guitar, and the single fixing screw allows the hand to twist clockwise or anti clockwise to make sure the guitar hangs vertically.

Wow!
