Product Description Pure henna will slightly deepen your existing hair colour and add mild reddish undertones. Brown hair colour will turn auburn to chestnut brown. Black hair colour will slightly lift in colour and glow red in sunlight. It will turn light colour hair, such as grey hair and blonde hair, shocking red orange. That's what pure henna does. Pure indigo will then turn the orange brown through to black, depending how long you leave it in for. What you end up with is perfectly blended natural hair colour. Organic desert earth indigo is the soul mate of pure henna. Instructions accompany this packet which is foil sealed at source for freshness, purity and punch! Indications Suitable for colouring all hair types: if you want an alternative to synthetic chemical based hair dyes, here's the 100% herbal alternative. Natural henna will slightly deepen the existing hair colour and add mild reddish undertones. Great henna
I’ve been buying this henna for the last 5 years and I cannot fault it. It’s very finely sieved so it makes it easy to work with and the colour release is beautifully natural. I have shoulder length porous curly hair and probably use two thirds of the packet, left on for about 4 hours. I always make up the whole packet and freeze the rest for a quick root touch up a few months later. My top tip is to coat the dried henna hair in lots of conditioner, to help with rinsing out.

Gives a good rich colour
Decided to make the switch from chemical hair dye almost a year ago, I have dark brown hair, and have been using a henna/indigo mix to cover my grey roots. I have tried other henna brands but have fond renasance henna to be the best. I tend to make them up separately, then mix equal parts henna & indigo to create a nice brown paste, add to my roots,, wrap head in clingfilm, shower cap and beanie hat, sleep on it then wash out the next morning. Gives a nice rich colour that blends well and no chemicals :-D

I'd recommend
It seems good. I've used it a couple of times. Quite a bright colour on my auburn /grey hair but I receive compliments and it improves the shine no end. Easy to mix

best henna I have used
Switched to Renaissance Henna after my previous henna failed to give me a deep red colouron hair as it had previously done.So pleased that I switched! This Henna was stained my fingers within a minute of touching it! Kept it on hair for only 2 hours as a recommend ( normally do 4 hours)Hair colour is brilliant! In summary- Deep red colour in less time!
