Works a treat for what it is
For the money a great piece of kit. Once line is adjusted over the two pegs it works really well.Bites from tiny roach even registered with this.Might not be the best top of the range bite alarm but it works a treat for what it is.

MAYBE IS GOOD FOR BEGINNERS, BUT FOR ME WAS A WASTE OF MONEY!
The bite alarms seem fairly solid but, cant adjust volume, thats a minus. Another one drawback, because the line is threaded around two pegs the bait runner mode on the reel is less efficient, which can lead to the rod being yanked off the rests when there is a vigorous bite. These alarms will not work for little bites but its ok when you get a good solid bite.Another one bad thing about it , is that you have to put it the 3 very small batteries yourself very difficult as you have to squeeze them in between 2 springs. So, what i wanna say, its ok, but im not satisfied....
