A good case.
Bought it for Dell RW316 DVD external drive. The only thing that is questionable is the padding for the drive. I feel it may not be enough to save the drive if it was accidentally drop from a few feet height. As is now, it works well and hope to see it that way!

Sturdy but voluminous
I bought an optical drive for use with my compact laptop. I travel a lot so thought I should get a case for it. This one is fine if you don't carry a lot of other things on your flight, and it has room for a few DVDs inside as well. For me it's too bulky and it is a hard case, good for protection but not that easy to pack my other things around. Thank you, Amazon Prime, for paying for DHL shipping for me to return it from Europe!
