I purchased 2 of these for the grandkids, (3 & 6 yrs old). It’s made of a stretchy, lightweight fabric; extra long fabric hangs down the back and on the sides to protect their ears & neck! Very nice product. Because the fabric is so stretchy, they will be able to wear this for a couple of summers as they grow.

I LOVED this hat for my grandson! Got one for my granddaughter in pink, too. They are SOO lightweight! Stretchable on different sized heads. They wore it in the ocean, and waves do NOT knock it off!! Stays in place, protects the face with a very wide bill on the forehead. Protects the ears and neck so perfectly. The kids don't even realize they have it on their heads. I even tried it on myself and am getting one to run in here in the FL sun while I train for my next marathon! GREAT!!

Have had these hats for a few months now. They have been used in lake water, as well as chlorinated pools, and machine washed many times. The hats stay on the kid’s heads securely. The material stretches and is very lightweight for a very comfortable fit. I have a three-year-old, six-year-old, and nine-year-old. All three kids can wear the same size hat, and the fit looks perfect. The foam-filled vizor is firm enough to stay in place and soft enough for play.

I was looking for a hat for my son who breaks out with hives and welts due to early Summer sun exposure. This hat is great because it’s snug/stretchy enough that he can wear it on the boat with worrying it would fly off, yet it is lightweight and comfortable. It dries quickly if it gets wet. I love the neck covering because this part is always hard to keep protected with sunscreen alone. Buying one for our daughter too!

That hat is amazing!!! Fits my 2 year old perfectly! He has a bigger then then normal head and it fits him perfectly!! It’s a super stretchy soft material. Not itchy at all and has the adjustable hat string incase of a windy beach day it won’t fly off. The hat covers all of the back of the neck as well as his ears very well. I highly, highly recommend to all parents and those who have a child with a bigger then normal head like my sons because they will fit perfectly!!

Ordered a blue for my son and pink for my daughter. They wore these for 14 days straight on a beach vacation that had us in and out of the ocean, climbing over WWII battleships, hiking around beaches and sliding down pools. These did a wonderful job protecting their faces and necks from sun burn. They feel great, similar to a cooling towel, when wet. And dry very quickly. The little cinching clip on the chin-string will fall off sometimes but it's very simple to put it back on. We tied a knot at the end of the string, and that's worked fine for keeping it in place. Would highly recommend.

This is so lightweight and dries quickly if it gets wet. My son just turned 3 and I got the large (youth size) and it’s perfect. He is a little taller/bigger head than average for his age though. There’s room to grow and for it to stretch more too so I’m sure this will fit him for at least a few more years.

This hat is great for those hot days. It cinches to your child’s neck. Be very careful though. There was no knot on the string. My 1 year old got the cinch off and had it in her mouth. Other than that, we love the coverage she gets from this hat
