Allomatic Brand Allison 1000 2000 Transmission Shallow Pan Filter Kit - 2001 and Up

I should have read closer, but these are NOT Allison parts. They do fit the Allison transmission. Only 100 miles since the service so too soon to tell if it’s going to be a problem. I had everything appear when I realized this wasn’t genuine Allison. So I was too far in to turn back. I’m sure they’re better than leaving the old filters on, but I’ll keep a close eye on this kit. Just be aware this is not a Genuine Allison kit. This is made in Taiwan. Looks like a knock off. These transmissions are expensive so hopefully I didn't screw Up putting this in there. I will say it all fit well. I’ll probably be dropping the pan again in 30k miles though because this was not an Allison filter and I don’t know if I can trust it.

I'm not a mechanic but felt I could do this job with a little help from Amazon and YouTube. This saved my about $300. The items received were an exact fit to the parts I removed from my truck. I would recommend watching more than one video to ensure you see all aspects of a repair and getting the parts in a full kit allowed me to do the entire change easily. The kit arrived promptly and had all the parts described in the offer.

It is not an Allison product.It does the job.If you want only genuine Allison don't buy this, if you want a set of filters to get the job done, then these are for you. The internal filter wasn't even protected from contaminants.

Clever ad listing depicting this item to be OEM. WARNING...IT IS NOT!!! I tried to return item but it was over 30 days so seller would not take it back. Nice. They said it states it is not OEM in the description...it doesn't. It is mentioned in the FAQ section not in the description!! What BS! These people don't deserve one star!!
