Reliable, High-Quality Gauze Pads That Are Great to Keep on Hand
I picked up these BAND-AID Brand 4x4 sterile gauze pads to restock our first aid kit at home. With kids around and the occasional kitchen mishap, I wanted something dependable for handling minor cuts, scrapes, and burns—and these have worked really well so far. The first thing I noticed is the quality of the material. The pads are soft but still thick enough to provide good cushioning and protection. They don’t feel flimsy, and they hold together well even when dealing with a bit of moisture or cleaning a wound. Since they’re non-adhesive, they don’t stick to the skin or the wound itself, which makes removal much more comfortable. That’s been especially helpful when covering scrapes, since it avoids that painful peeling feeling you sometimes get with adhesive bandages. Key Features I Noticed: Sterile, individually reliable pads for first aid use Soft yet absorbent material for cushioning and protection Non-adhesive design helps prevent sticking to wounds Large 4 in x 4 in size for better coverage Trusted brand quality Typical Uses Around the House: Covering minor cuts and scrapes Protecting small burns after initial treatment Applying ointment and dressing wounds Keeping in a home or car first aid kit Backup supplies for travel or outdoor activities One situation where these came in handy was a small kitchen cut that needed more coverage than a regular bandage. The size made it easy to cover the area fully, and it stayed comfortable in place with some medical tape. Overall, these worked well for me and did exactly what I needed—simple, reliable wound care without any hassle. I normally would not buy J&J
I dislike everything J&J stands for since the Pandemic. But Bandaid has always been a Great Product. Recently I had an Abscess that started from a small crevice in a tooth that an Oral Surgeon had to remove. Everything was going well until I went back on my regular meds. Not everything is compatible with your meds and supplements and this includes antibiotics. I was thankful I knew this and checked before hand. Not everyone knows or does. Lots of things can happen. So with the antibiotic out of the way, I felt safe, but forgot to check a new med that was a combo supplement. K2 was in it and as my mouth was healing and clotting nicely. I took the new med only 2 days with K2 when I started bleeding profusely. It started late at night and I didn't sleep, I didn't realize I was bleeding. My saliva tasted salty, not typical but I just figured I had Post Nasal Drip. I was drooling too. I had itched my stomach and was covered in blood. The clot in my mouth was dissolving and I was near to having a Dry Socket. Which means that hole would be open to my jaw bone and exposed to bacteria. I heard it was very painful too. I was more worried about having my jaw bone exposed. I only got 7 gauze pads from surgery. A friend said I wouldn't need anymore and it would be stopping bleeding anytime shortly out of the Clinic. I do bleed quite a bit, but no I figured 2 days anyway. So I used up the pads, convincing my friend to get me some extra just in case and I would pay for them and I did. This is what she got. She was confused as to what to buy. It was mainly sizes but that is easy to figure out. So she got one 10 count box. I said I needed more, so she bought a 25 count box and said they were on sale. So she got me another box and said it was half price because I got a second one. Even better and Amazon has it even cheaper. So I paid for what she got and then got some on Amazon besides, not knowing I really would need them later. So I started up on the other meds with K2 and the rest is history..... I have just started to get the K2 out of my system 3 days later. I have more on hand for my next visit or to use with tape as a bandage. I knew something was wrong with the bleeding, and I sure was glad I had extra. The Oral Surgeon didn't know about the new supplement, but I knew enough to check after bleeding like I did. The pads are perfect for extractions, nothing sticks to your gums or later a cut and scab, that it is recommended to use neosporin. The use is really awesome. I'm surprised others don't make sponges like this I only saw one on a roll that was similar to when I was growing up at home. That was it. These had lots of different sizes, but nothing confusing I thought. They definitely came in handy. I don't know why they don't give you more extra at the Dental Clinic. They are soft, absorbent, and a good size. I felt good to know I had these around. I just hated thinking I was supporting J&J somehow. Maybe the reason the price is so cheap is because others won't buy J&J. I guess that is your decision. I think we all need to think about this and make it a matter of personal concern.

Gauze pad is nice and thick.
Very soft thick gauze pads. I used on extremely sensitive sore. I was delighted to purchase the same brand at a good price.

Gentle Protection and Comfort for Wounds—A First Aid Essential
The Band-Aid Brand Cushion Care Non-Stick Gauze Pads have quickly become a go-to in my first aid routine. These pads are perfect for covering and protecting wounds, offering a soft, cushioned layer that helps prevent irritation while promoting healing. At 3 inches by 3 inches, they’re the ideal size for medium-sized cuts, scrapes, and burns. One of the best features of these gauze pads is the non-stick design. It makes changing dressings much less painful, as the pad doesn’t adhere to the wound, which is especially important for sensitive skin or healing areas. The individual wrapping keeps each pad sterile until you’re ready to use it, ensuring that your wound care remains hygienic. I also appreciate that these pads are thick enough to absorb any drainage, yet breathable enough to allow the wound to heal properly. The soft cushioning provides comfort, making them suitable for longer wear times. If there’s one minor suggestion for improvement, it would be to offer them in a larger pack size for those of us who go through them quickly. And for a touch of humor: Why did the gauze pad get promoted? Because it always stuck to its job, but never to the wound! Overall, the Band-Aid Brand Cushion Care Non-Stick Gauze Pads are a must-have for any first aid kit. They provide reliable, comfortable protection for wounds, making them a top choice for effective and gentle wound care.

They are thick and absorbent
From time to time I have a diabetic ulcer on my leg. I used to have to use abdominal pads - these are great for absorption as they are thick and I don't have a bulky bandage.
