Works well, just make sure you dust off the surface first (if you're using the plastic pad that it suctions onto). I like the little tray, though for my Samsung Note 3 the tray is a little high. I actually changed to using it just behind my rear-view mirror, so I can use my Note 3 as a GPS device without having to take my eyes away from the road. It works great, it's been stuck up there now for about a month and hasn't fallen off, and the phone has never fallen out. That little bit of non-slide padding in the middle makes a surprisingly good difference.

I bought this for a vacation in which I would be driving a rental car - a lot (1000 miles in a week, multiple destinations). It worked great for 2 days, stuck well to the windshield and stayed in place. On day #3, the arm started drooping - every time I needed to see the screen I would have to push it back up and it would stay put for a few minutes. By day #4 it wouldn't stay up at all and I nearly got in so many accidents trying to mess with it that I just quit using it entirely, resulting in me trying to precariously balance my phone on the center console. It was frustrating, disappointing, and all-around a terrible experience- just because the manufacturer is so cheap that they didn't provide a way to "lock" the extension arm. I wish I'd just grabbed my TaoTronics TT-SH02 out of my own car instead - this one is going BACK!

This works wonderfully in a car but not so great in a truck, it needs an optional telescoping head to extend it from the windshield towards the dash. So far, in below zero conditions, it has not lost suction. Though I am looking forward to how it holds up in the summer heat.

It is perfect for my Galaxy S4 phone or most any other phone including the iPhone 4s and 5S. I did not use the mounting accessories I just put heavy duty double sided tape (3m from Walmart) on the back and stuck it to my dash and it fits perfectly. The tape can be peeled off (I used it on a previous holder and it was on the dash for over a year and pealed off without any problems)I just ordered two more for my wife's lexus and for my daughter's tahoe. Its a nice little mount. Sticks to the glass very well. However where it all falls down is the Ball Adjustment has no friction lock and normal vehicle movements over several weeks have worn the joint to the point where its so loose that the mount wont hold position with the phone in place. I suspect within a couple of weeks it will not support the phone at all and the thing will flop around uselessly. Tip for a buyerslooking fora good mount geta good suction mount and ensure the unit has a friction lock to hold phone in the desired position this mount does NOT and it is the undoing of the mount and the reason for the very poor rating of an otherwise good product.

I ordered 2 of these and figured that they would be sturdy.. well my phone (nor the phones of 3 other people in my household) sit well on here. We have tried to rearrange etc but it just doesn't and you can't really see the screen properly. You get what you pay for..

The product was as advertised. It feels very durable despite being light and slim. It's simple to assemble and really like the accompanying round plate for fix unto a dash board. I just started using it barely 3 days and love it. It holds my iphone 5 still even on rough road. On moving the adjustable neck, it feels it would easily break if not handle or moved in the appropriate way. But I must say is a good buy for its price.

Great suction and hold. Very versatile product and seems to be pretty reliable in holding the smartphone securely.Great price and value.
