I found this book to be very realistic and probably very close to home for some of Jerry's readers. I had a little trouble with the spoiled rich kid always getting away with things. Glad that in the end he realized what is more important in life. The cat's for me was hilarious, I had a friend in college who we all called that crazy cat lady. You will enjoy this book, Mr. Cole never disappoints this reader. I’m actually in the middle of this book and I’m going to read it until the end, but I do have one issue. This author, that I actually like, needs to decide whether or not he’s writing in 1st person. The inner thoughts are frequent and disrupt the flow of the story. They weren’t necessary. It’s possible to get those thoughts scross without slipping into 1st person. The book could have easily been written in 1st person if the author felt he honestly needed to get those thoughts across, or even put them in italics to separate them from the rest of the story. Editing should have caught this. And it’s a shame because so far, this is a really good story.

The book begins in a way that might not be expected but soon becomes a serious moral tale about the wonder of sincerity and human goodness. Money exists in our world but is no match for the kindness of the human heart, The characters are exceedingly well formed and their relatiobships reinforce the author's message, This might be classified as an M/M writing, which indeed it is, but this book is so much more. Well done Mr Cole!

I thought it initially started slow and I wasn't sure where he was going with the story line. The story evolved beautifully into one of the best books I've read by Jerry Cole so far. I loved how he took the turn bringing out the humanity and compassion in both Royce and Jacob. It an awesome twist at the end bringing father and son back together. I was able to really relate to many of the characters.

I personally liked theme. I am a farm girl so the location caught my attention immediately. What did I like least of all? I didn't especially like that the story had to end. I wish it could have gone on and on. On a serious note, this was a great book. Kept my attention the whole way. In fact I finished it in one day. So I do recommend it. Read it today. I know you'll like it too.

I really loved this book! The buildup of this story was fun at a very fast pace. Watching Royce and Jacob grow together and learn from each other’s past made for a great time. I have read so many m&m love stories, that I have lost count. I don't know where they get their story lines and characters but they are always new and exciting. Jerry, like so many others, is never a disappointment.

I found the book a learning experience of life and its experiences and with an ending a little overdone for completion

First meet your closetted mega rich snob, with a group of obnoxious friends that noone would give you a pound for the lot. Then bring in emotionless dad who wants his son to grow up. Everyone is at a huge party where there is an accident!This is the point where I normally stop reading. As this is a start of a very predictable storyline. However, I love this author and have read and enjoyed so many of his books that I felt I needed to give it a little bit longer. I decided a couple more chapters wouldn't kill me and I'm so glad I did.Due to that there will be no more spoilers from me. However I will say that the two MCs were very easy to love once Mr Mega Rich realised his money was useless.It really pulled at my heart strings as Roy/Royce embarked on his journey of discovering himself and what he really wanted in the future.I thought that the way the back story was explained was easy to follow. Although I wish it had been a bit clearer in respect of who was speaking/thinking, as I did get confused a few times and had to go back and re-read a few pages.Which brings me to the thoughts and how they were presented. Once again the author could have made it easier to know that it was them talking to themself. Don't get hung up on this though. These are two very small cons against a big list of pros. Don't be put off by this or by the cats if you are not a cat person which I'm not. Although they a massively responsible for Roy/Royce meeting Jay, that's basically their involvement, which had worried me before I started reading as I'm really not a cat lover!Jay was written to be a joker and actually, this came across as very natural. His jokes and antics had me actually giggling at times. Add to that the fact that the author really nailed it when, he had Jay serious or explaining his background; reducing me to tears a lot of the time, and then he was start joking around to lift the mood. Personally, I thought Jay's character and his personality were exceptionally well written, enabling the author to create some sad and very dark topics to be included for both MCs.Suffice to say, I loved this book and would definitely recommend it, whether you are new to the author or not.Enjoy xxx

Rating 4.7 stars. I got this book after receiving an email about it and reading the reviews. It was a pleasant change to some other books I had been reading with murders in them. The story was very good, although I found it slightly slow to get going - but I understand that the scene needed setting. I thoroughly enjoyed the interaction between the two main characters and also all the supporting characters too. It was a real "feel good" type of story - nice and relaxing with some nice romance and a few sexy scenes.

To be honest, at the beginning, I wasn't sure if this book would be for me. I didn't like Royce or his entourage. However, as the story continued, and new characters were introduced I wanted to keep reading...in fact, I did well into the night! Royce started to change because the people around him treated him with care and respect and accepted him. Now, Jacob....wow, I loved this character so much! He was caring, eccentric, and oh so funny! I loved how Jacob and Royce' s love story grew. All in all, the story was great, the writing was fantastic...thank you Jerry Cole! Can't wait for your next book.

This is a great story I enjoyed it and was wanting more so it is worth getting it has great examples in it and and also a great HEA ending. I recommended buying sitting back and enjoy.

Well this book was great I liked that someone you love would set you up to change your life for the better and at the same time find your soulmate.
