American made by Oetiker, same supplier to Souix Chief brand. These are made with thicker metal then many cheaper knock off clamps and I never had a leak with these.

These clamps are great. They are smooth to operate and tough. You can get them tighter than most and not have them break or deform. If you need hose clamps, you may can find better but I haven't yet.

Clamp rings are very well made and easy to use and I'm going to buy enough to last for years as sharkbite is shifting to make junk. Sharkbite is moving to made in CHINA products like push on fittings that are now listed as Sharkbite MAX made in CHINA and junk. Sharkbite is trying to keep up the appearance of made in USA and shifting to CHINA made products. When looking at reviews look at the photos and date of review as most positive reviews will be for made in USA, made before 2023.

The good: made in USA by Oetiker which also makes the Sioux Chief brand that I have used successfully. The copyrighted Sharkbite branding is on the packaging, the “pre-crimp” design keeps your crimping pliers from slipping off is there, I’ll buy more of these.The bad: no packaging, just a shipping label over the front of the bag covering the information. It arrived intact though, amazingly.Conclusion: I was nervous to order these as many thought it was bait and switch, not real Sharkbite. I will order again as I believe they are the real deal and are top quality unlike some of the imported brands on Amazon, though I have not tried those other clamps. I am not a professional plumber but have done extensive plumbing on a few properties that I have owned.

The Sharkbite cinch clamp rings are a little indented to start with, vs other brands that aren't - if you check out pictures of the various brands, you'll be able see the difference if you're looking for it. Anyway, I had purchased 3 brands when I first started working on the plumbing in my RV, just for the heck of it. I hadn't notice the difference when I bought them... but when I started trying to clamp them on the rings using my new IWISS Ratcheting PEX Cinch Tool, I found the Sharkbite easier to get correct.The little indents allowed the tool to grip into the pinch end, making it so they didn't slip out while I was closing the handles to pinch it. With the other brands, I found I had to push against the ring/pipe with the tool while closing the handles. If the pipe has in a stable position, or up against the floor or something, then it was okay. But a couple of times I was attaching a fixture in the middle of an unsupported area, and I had to switch to the Sharkbite, because the other rings were slipping out of the tool as I squeezed the handles together. Basically, I will now only buy Sharkbite (at least until I see another brand that also has these indents :).
