Perfect for Armstrong, Artley, Jupiter, Gemeinhardt
I have replaced the head corks in Armstrong, Artley, Gemeinhardt, and Jupiter flutes using this head cork from Allied Music supply. It's a good basic shape/size with a slim center drill, so I can easily cut and fit it to whatever instrument I am working on and get a perfect result. My flute repair technician does my regulating for my keys, but the rest of the work on my instruments I do on my own for the most part. The availability of quality parts, like this, makes it possible for me to get equally professional results without having to send off my flute for service.A word to the wise -- If you are going to do it yourself, be sure you have a METAL cleaning rod with the proper marking for centering the head cork for your brand of flute. Also be sure you remove the head cork properly (down through the tenon where the head joins the body) and install the new one the same way. Get directions before you wing it, in other words... You do not want to ruin a $1000 flute by guessing!

Satisfied
It was a bit hard to fit in to my old Gemeinhart M2 flute. But once it's in, the sound has been incredibly improved.

Flute cork
It fit perfectly and now I've used my flute to teach my daughter how to play. She was able to blow and make the right sounds once I replaced the old cork with the new, beautiful one.

Musical Instruments
I have needed one of these for a long time and now that I am working with children in my chosen field of study of Music Therapy is is very useful.
