Preppy's journey back to the living. Dre is his rainbow at the end of the road. She is his home.
*** 2017 Favorite ****** 5+ Star Review ***As readers we all have our favorite type of books that capture our hearts and imaginations. The King series by T. M. Frazier is one of those series that readers have embraced whole heartedly. There is one particular character in this series who is not only the glue that holds them all together but is also larger than life. A character that every reader of this series adores because of his personality, his quirks, and his ability to put life in a perspective that is uniquely his own but also inspires those around him. He's not perfect at all. He has a dark side that is just as strong as his light side. His bad is on an even playing field with his good. He doesn't make excuses nor does he try to change who he is. He is just going to be himself whether you like it or not. He is Samuel Clearwater, also known as Preppy. Like his personality, Preppy has a story that is larger than life. His story has monsters, dungeons, castles, kings, princesses, knights in tarnished armor, and a kingdom where night is day and day is night. It's all in the perspective and how he lives his life as a part of this kingdom. He is the missing royal prince of Logan Beach and he's back in all his glory. Preppy is taking back his throne, his place in Logan Beach but first he has to wake up to claim his throne. After reading the first book in Preppy's story, the readers got to see what Preppy was up to during the missing years of King's story. While King was sitting in prison Preppy was busy minding his kingdom and working effortlessly to get King's daughter back. He met a junkie that would become a means to his end. She was the key to getting King's daughter back. First he had to get her off the drugs and agree to help him. Things didn't go quite as planned. He fell for the junkie and knew he had to let her go. He wasn't what she needed in her life. She needed a clean break with people that could love and support her rehabilitation. Four years later life has taken a different path for them both.Dre has returned to Logan Beach to sell her grandmother's home. She also came back for closure. After the devastating news of Preppy's death she knew she needed to say her final goodbyes and let go of their past. She would of never imagined that he was still alive but still unreachable. Finding Preppy alive and in a coma was a shock. Finding out she was legally married to Preppy was even more shocking. The most shocking thing of all was when Preppy finally became conscious and on the road to recovery, he was a complete stranger. He wasn't the man she fell in love with. He wasn't the man any of them knew. Preppy was still lost to them all. After being tortured and mentally dead for quite some time, it's impossible to grasp freedom. He lost himself to the darkness. Now he has his life back but he's not the same man who owned that life. He's lost in the darkness. Finding his way back to the light seems impossible even though he is awake and free from his captor. Life went on without him and now he is in a world that is different and doesn't make sense to him. He still loves his family and friends with all his heart but doesn't feel like he knows them any longer. He doesn't feel like they know who he is either. The only thing that seems to be the same is his feelings for Dre. He never told her how he felt about her. He let her go when he should of held onto her. He swore if he got another chance he would come clean. How can he tell her how he feels when he is so broken. How can he love her when he doesn't even know how to love himself? He's not the man he once was. He doesn't know if he will ever be that man again. Preppy was lost a long time ago. Samuel Clearwater died the day he became Preppy. Who is the man in the shell of a broken body and a tormented mind?Dre, King, Ray, Bear, Ti, and the Logan Beach crew (including Rage) are thankful for the miracle of Preppy's resurrection. When they lost him they lost a part of themselves. The man that came back from the dead is not Preppy. He is a lost broken soul in the body of the man they love. They will do anything to help him find himself again. It's going to take patience, understanding, and at times hard love. Preppy is worth it all. The only thing they can do is offer a hand and love in his journey back from hell.Preppy: Part Two is Preppy's journey back to the living. The journey is not easy. At times it is heartbreaking and other times it is filled with hope. In the end, only Preppy can travel the road. Dre is his rainbow at the end of the road. She is his home.Preppy found his way home and now he's grabbing onto the life he has fought for. Nothing in Preppy's life has been easy. He has had to work for his happiness. He's earned it and he's reaping the rewards. Just when he's taken his life back, life throws another monster in his path. This time it could break them all. What does that mean...CLIFFHANGER!T. M. Frazier has done it again... she has left us wanting more of Preppy.

Preppy part 2
I liked this one slightly less than the first but still really good. Preppy breaks my heart. Dre is still a good female lead. I'm so glad they have Bo too now. I like how the crews family keeps expanding, and I am not upset that Bear and King are back on the story 🔥Part 3 next!

TM Frazier...You Are Amazing!!
Before I say anything else, let me get this out of my system...OH MY G-D!!! What a wild ride T.M. takes us on in the second part of Preppy's story.I absolutely love T.M. Frazier. The King Series is one of my favorite book series. It's a go to reread for me. I have been fortunate enough to meet T.M. and she is a sweetheart. If you've seen her in person, you know she is gorgeous. She's also a genuinely nice person and doesn't mind when you ridiculously fangirl over her. Then you read her books and you think to yourself, how can this totally lovely person write such dark and twisted books? But I digress. Of course as soon as Preppy Part 2 appeared on my Kindle I had to start reading. Then I decided, you can never have enough Preppy in your life, so I had to do a reread of Part 1. The time line was reset up in my brain and I was ready to dive into Part 2.Preppy Part 2 picks up just where the first part leaves off. Dre, is at Preppy's bedside, we've just heard him tell everyone that Dre is his wife. Then after a bit of the lull, Preppy springs up from his bed and tries to strangle Dre.Then the story really begins. If you don't know where Preppy's been, stop reading now. One click the entire series and just start from the very beginning. So we know Preppy has been held captive by Chop and tortured in the worst ways. He's been comatose for a while and King and Bear aren't sure if he's out of the woods yet.Since Dre was pre Ray and Thia, they are both suspicious of her intentions. Preppy is in a bad way and everyone is very protective of him. Dre is back in Logan's Beach. After Preppy sent her on her way in part one, Dre went to rehab and got her life back together. She's just back in Logan's Beach to settle up some issues with her grandma's house and closure on a horrible chapter of her life. Then she plans to go back home. After all, there's nothing for her in Logan's Beach any more. Until she finds out PREPPY IS ALIVE!The story is so gripping I honestly could not put it down. You see a whole other side of Preppy that you didn't think existed. In King when you met Preppy he was funny and cute, but you knew he had a dark side. Preppy's dark side is beyond anything you could imagine. What he went through as a child, then when he was held captive, would be enough to break even the strongest of men, but not Preppy.Freedom is something Preppy struggles with. The torture he endured has taken a toll on him physically and mentally. He's not the same Preppy you remember. He's broken. Everyone tries to help him, but this is something Preppy has to fix himself. And when he fixes himself, he is delicious. The relationship between Dre and Preppy is strained. They're married and yes they actually are. You'll find out. Clearly, they separated on terrible terms. Then Dre got the letter and that letter changed everything. It's one of the reasons she finds her way back to Logan's Beach.I don't want to say anymore about the story line, because you should definitely be one clicking this one. Everything about Preppy Part 2 is totally on point. The story alone is amazing, but T.M. Frazier has the ability to make you become invested in every character she creates. There's humor, there's friendship, there's love and a whole lot of twisted, jaw dropping in this book. Be sure you have time to read it, because you won't want to put it down!Five hugely twisted stars for T.M. Frazier and Preppy Part 2.PS King is mine..,just sayin'

Brilliant again !!!!
A wonderful emotional book about Preppy once again and how he is coming to terms with what happened to him in the last book. Please be aware that all these books need to be read in order to fully appreciate this book and all the characters and the swirling of emotions that grip you.The writing is as usual really good with an amazingly addictive story line that never gets boring and keeps you glued to the pages. Preppy may be back but he is not the same man as before he was held captive, he is damaged and broken and really confused to how he is feeling and not really dealing with it very well.As you can imagine Dre is overjoyed to find out that Preppy is alive after all this time and because of what she has been through in her past she recognises what Preppy is suffering; she becomes his saviour but he needs to see that and that takes a lot of work and patience from all his family and friends. What I have really loved about all of these books so far is the way TM Frazier writes her characters so well, I have come to fall in love with each and every one of them in my own way and I must admit when I first started these books I did wonder what all the fuss was about concerning Preppy but now I get it - totally !! Because Preppy is a character that grows on you slowly, he has a big big heart but has that rough masculine exterior with a sense of homour that is extraordinary, oh and did I mention that he is hot as well !!!!!! He wraps himself around your heart and you can't help but love him.Lots of suprises in this book, the usual angst and ups and downs of everyday life for these people that take you on another journey where you never know where you will end up - awesome stuff !!!

Whoop Whoop!!!!
Anxiety overload but Soooooo effing worth it.Preppy Preppy Preppy how I love you so. Your still my Bow tie wearing tattooed foul mouthed witty MotherFxxker and I wouldn't change a thing. This book picks straight up from where we left off and we get a little more insight into what Preppy went through and the struggles he's having to find himself again.I read this book straight through because I was scared to put it down for fear of missing something important.I'm just addicted to this whole series because the characters are all strong in their own rights and we get to see them all throughout these books which is fantastic.Poor Samuel Clearwater hasn't had an easy time since he came back, he's lost parts of himself and needs them back.Everything has changed since he's been away and his life is now spinning out of control and he can't stop it.Dre is the only person who grounds him. He needs help but can't reach out.It was an emotional read at times to see the struggles and Demons that haunt Preppy but even though he's having a tough time you still get glimpses at the sarcastic and hilarious sense of humour he has which has me in stitches.Just a fantastic story and had me hooked straight away, I need part 3 because as always it ended on an almighty cliffy that just leaves you craving more.

I gasped and the gasped again at the ending, i cant belive you did that to us :/
I really do not think any review could do this book justice, i dont know how many times i wanted to climb right into my kindle and just give Preppy a hug, when i read the first Preppy book i wasnt sure i was gonna like it as much as the other books in the King series but i think i loved it more, Its understandable why he is like he is, but saying that he isnt a bad person he has a big heart for the right people, So when he comes out of his Coma i was hoping he would still be Preppy he is but he is also different which is to be expected but it is only right towards the end of the book you find out to what level he suffered at the hands of the sicko Chop. i just wana say this is an amazing book and im struggling with how to word my review, there is so much i wana write but id spoil it for someone who hasnt yet read it,and i hate it when that happens. So im just gonna go with its just as good maybe better than Preppy part 1, you get everything you expect from Preppy and Dre and the others i especially love how King, Bear and Preppy still have their Hilarious moments, I love how it was King who pulled Preppy out of himself, i think it could only have been him. any way before i start writing stuff that will spoil this, buy it read it love it.

He's gotta be one of the best characters ever written
Because Pancakes!Second installment in the life and death of Samuel Clearwater. Our Preppy. He's gotta be one of the best characters ever written.Preppy is back after being dead for a while. He tries to be his usual self and brush everything under the carpet but he's struggling. Nothing is the same as before he was taken. His friends lives have moved on as though nothing ever happened. He's having problems healing both physically and mentally. The return of Dre has him all mixed up too. Maybe because his defenses are down he can't help showing her his vulnerable side.I really don't wanna say anymore. I do not wanna spoil a thing for anyone reading it.I will say that this is different from book one as in it shows you Preppy's darker more vulnerable side. You really do see him go down quite far in the mood stakes. It may be a little bit sick of me, but hey it's Preppy he won't mind, but i kinda enjoyed seeing him break. He's almost seemed impenetrable since the start. Nothing life has thrown at him has broken him. You've occasionally saw flashes of this in previous books but this one lets you get down and dirty in the depths of Preppy's mind. But... the huge thing i loved about this book? His rise... it truly is a magical thing to read. The return of Preppy couldn't have been written any better in my opinion. I was there along for the ride. I feel like i was in his head and it was an effed up beautiful place!Dre has a few secrets up her sleeve that come out which kept me wanting more of her too. She's been broken and beaten down but she believes what Preppy told her. She's not broken! I love how she doesn't instantly fall back in with Preppy. She takes her time and the story is spread over a fair amount of time for her to start letting him back in. I love she's no push over even though she still loves him.Now.... The bestest bit of this book. The family element. I may or may not have squee'd a bit everytime Bear, Preppy and King were together. Those men have been through so much together i think they were the only ones to help Preppy at this time in his life. There are just some fantastic moments that had me howling with laughter and then welling up with tears! The Bear's tattoo bit? bahahahaha you'll know when you read it is fan-bloody-tastic and the Preppy that makes him a legend in my opinion comes outta the dark. Then his convo with Rage will have you crossing your fingers she doesn't kill him! lolPretty much the whole King series characters are in here as they should be and we also see a little glimpse of someone to come! EXCITED!!!I'm just gonna gush all over the place about this book. I will admit i was slightly apprehensive when i learned there would be three books for Preppy as i wondered if it might feel too stretched out but now I'm wondering if it should be four books!! I could read about this bow tied freak tattooed beauty forever! Can't recommend this book highly enough especially if your a huge fan of the King series like me!!

Preppy In The House
Ugh, T.M. Frazier is an evil woman, but you cannot deny that she's a genius. I've never cried reading one of her books before, the exception being, Pretty, Part Two...She took me on such an emotional roller coaster throughout this book. She broke my heart in places and made my lips quiver. I might have even thrown a few swear words at her without her knowledge. The story picks up where Pretty, Part One left off. Dre is back and she is different after getting clean and going back to school. She returns to sell Mirna's house and to get closure. But after the bombshell at the end of part one, everyone is seeking answers...the big one for Dre is Preppy being alive after all this time.Samuel Clearwater (aka Preppy), isn't the same man he was before. He's broken and scarred, and nothing's the same as when he left...he's a mess. King and Bear both have families and the people he once loved and cared for are gone. He doesn't feel a part of anything anymore, and it doesn't help that he won't speak about what happened to him.Dre and Preppy don't have an easy journey back to one another. There are still so many questions and answers they both need in order to move on with their lives together. The moment they finally get there though, it's sweet, hot and explosive. My heart broke for Preppy and for everything he went through. But he is lucky enough to have amazing friends and family. I can't wait to read the final part of Preppy and Dre's journey.Especially after THAT cliffhanger, I mean, What The Hell?!?
