A Documentary History of the United States (Revised and Updated)

Just go and compile all history documents yourself and you will have, at least, half or two thirds of this book's content.

It is exactly what I wanted and with great introductions to the documents.

I needed the book for a class, the price was great. However, when I opened the package the cover page of the book was bent in various places and damaged.

An excellent collection, with a (sadly) necessary inclusion of key documents (and tweets) from the post-2016 degradation of democracy. A great all-in-one survey of American history up to today.

This is a valuable compendium of many of America's most vital historical documents accompanied by thoughtful analysis. It is especially timely in an era of rampant misinformation. Today's students, in particular, need more opportunities to use historical texts to help them make informed judgments about political rhetoric.
