Captain Harlock: The Classic Collection Vol. 1

This is pretty much how you should release an older work of this nature. It is a large book, the cover and paper are of good quality, there are colored pages and there is a bonus chapter. There are no annoying forewords or afterwords by translators, nor are there fx translations as they have been changed to English.The story itself is well paced, and feels episodic overall, lacking Yamato's erratic and unfinished nature. Sometimes the character design is crude and ugly, but mechanical designs and atmosphere can impress.Basically it is what it is. If you're a fan of Harlock, Matsumoto or simply want to collect the classics, you'll probably love it.

Such a good comic

Absolutely shallow and feels empty! Not much happens! The anime had much more going on, but this mage is nothing, but an empty shell. It’s so hard to care for the characters when they’re all shallow and have 0 character development!

Book comes in a beautiful hardcover. I haven't finished the story yet but I'm loving it so far. The art is great and I like the concept of humanity growing lazy and doing nothing when a crisis happens. Highly recommend.

It came in good condition. Unlike the classic collection 2 that came damaged.

Super good quality! I hope the Gun Frontier manga is released in this format.
