Brilliant value for money given the size of these. My niece enjoyed having these in her paddling pool. They would be ideal for a school/nursery situation due to the substantial size of them. They are not cheap hollow plastic toys.

Loved this set, and our 2 year old loved them even more. They are good quality but I am not sure that if we were buying rather than reviewing I would pay the premium, particularly when kids are so fickle and go off toys so quickly. Definitely worth it if you are buying for a nursery or school classroom where they will get a bit more wear and tear.The figures are great for imaginative play, talking about and learning about new creatures. This set in particular has a snake which is great for the odd scare.

I'm a Year 1 teacher and I let my children play with these as a treat. The children are really impressed with them. They're big, very tactile and have a nice level of detail. They're also accurate, so children can learn about amphibians but playing with them. Thumbs up. I still hate snakes though.

Really surprisingly big reptiles which have been much played with by my 6 and 2 year-olds. The plastic is a bit cheap feeling, but only what I expected, I doubt it will effect the life of the toys as they are still flexible. Would be excellent for an educational setting or as a gift for a child as they have real novelty factor.

This set of five reptiles and amphibians act as a wonderful teaching aid for creative play, drawing references and learning about the creatures themselves.The enclosed leaflet contains a selection of facts for each creature and the habitat that they live in, as well as ideas for lessons to perform using the models. The models are large (e.g - The gecko is approx. 30cm long) and easy to handle for young children, constructed of a strong non-toxic plastic which does not have an overwhelming smell to it. Admittedly some of the models look more lifelike than others, but they still work well to get an idea of each creature's physical appearance.Though the models are good for creative play, the instructions warn not to put them in water, as the models are hollow - particularly noticable in the case of the frog - and water can get trapped inside them. The fact they are hollow may also give them less resilience, especially under rough handling.

The reptiles and amphibians are made of good quality rubber with no strange scents or defects that could easily be spotted. They are much bigger than they look in the picture and my nephew who is less than 3 years old really likes playing with them in his own funny role plays! He obviously throws them around when playing and seems to think the snake wants to bite the tale of the gecko! For some reason the frog seems to be his least favourite so gets left out sometimes :-( Overall, I think they are great for children of that age and fun for them to play with.

My grandson loves this type of product whilst playing in the bath or the mud pit. They are easy to wash and get clean. They are not an hard plastic more along the lines of a squeaky toy plastic. They are hollow inside not solid like I thought they would be. They look nice and have vibrant colours.They are nice and big for his hands and they do stand up to his rough play. Because he has SPD (Sensory Perception Disorder) he likes to feel these constantly as they have the bumps and ridges that the real reptiles would have, so they aid him in sensory play.I do find them to be a tad pricey but since they are helping in his sensory play they would be great for a nursery setting for children with SPD.

My son has really enjoyed playing with these creatures.The set includes four reptiles; a snake, tortoise, gecko and iguana and one amphibian; a frog.They are a good size and very well made. I think the colours could be more vivid but apart from that they are very presentable.They are made from soft plastic and seem very durable. My son loves how the snake coils up.I expect hours of play from these lovely creatures.

Our son is animal toy obsessed!He loved these!

Belli, fatti molto bene ad eccezione della rana che sembra plasticaccia. Diciamo che per il prezzo potevano impegnarsi di più ma ero preparata perché avevo già letto recensioni dove lo indicavano. La tartaruga è fatta molto bene e anche gli altri rettili per questo mi sento comunque di consigliarne l'acquisto.

To say my boys love these Jumbo Reptiles & Amphibians is an understatement. That darn snake even came to church with us. I really am impressed with the quality and detail on these guys and they promote lots of creative playtime. These are no dollar store toys. They're going to hold up to kid wear and tear. The bigger sizes mean easier to find and just overall more fun too.

These are sturdy, and so well made. I wish I had but the bullet and ordered all of them so we. I only have a few more sets to have them all and I don’t regret it at all! My kids LOVE them!
