4 Pairs, Mens Big and Tall Sports Tube Socks Long Over the Calf - 26 inches (Black)

My son is 6'2, 150lbs, shoe size 17(yes 17 and he is 15 years old). He has very big ankles (not fat, just big) it is really hard to find socks that will fit his huge, growing feet and go over his ankle and not be tight. Tube socks seem like the ideal choice, because they can fit many sizes of feet, however (and I don't understand why) they are really hard to find. These are mostly cotton which he definitely needs and they have a decent stretch to them, more would have been better, but they do fit over his ankle and his leg. They covered most of his calf, about 5" below his knee. I tried these on out of the package they aren't very soft, but not too rough or scratchy (I have sensitive skin). I wear a women's 11 shoe and I'm a big girl they were right below my knee and were not too tight, a little more stretch to it would have been better but it was comfy enough. This is day 1 so I don't know about durability, but if I remember I will update after some wear and washing. They will be put to the test because my son walks 3 miles a day, 5 days a week.

Wanted to wait until I had washed and worn several times to review. They were exactly what I was looking for in that they came completely over the calf and stay up during the work day. I will be ordering more.

in socks...one size does not fit all...i saw my son buy some tube socks and realized there was no preformed foot and i love knee highs. these socks are fantastic and i do not have a heel up around my ankle. i have a small foot... these socks are warm.. comfortable, knee high and great with boots and leggings.. so ladies.. if you have the problem i do.. small feet... and you like knee highs... get these socks! they are wonderful and i am going to order more

I've been wearing black tube socks for 20 years and the best socks I ever found were from Red Wing Shoes. These socks are not quite as good but they are close. They shed quite a bit the first few times you wear them leaving black specks in the dryer and on your feet but after a couple of weeks they hold up well. Definitely recommend.

They are big and tall! Fabric quality is poor. Not soft and pilled after one use, not for longevity, they’re more of a disposable sock. I was lured into these for my wearing under my boots. The length is the only good part. Would not recommend.

They were to tight and no where near as long as they claimed. Sure I could have sent them back but who has the time to keep running back and forth to do that. I wish people would just be HONEST in listing and describing products correctly not just to make a sale. (NOT saying that's what this seller did, just saying in general!!)

Exactly as advertised. These socks are thick, comfortable and really long. I'm 6'3", and they come all the way up to my knees. I will be ordering these again.

They were 2-3 inches shorter than advertised. We ordered the white version too and they were right on the money. The black were way too short.
