It Will be Okay: Trusting God Through Fear and Change (Little Seed & Little Fox)

This is probably my favorite kids book! Such a great message behind a very sweet story!

Very good book for children and adults. I enjoy reading it and sharing with others. This book helps to know we can trust God always.

This is a sweet story to read to your children. Teaching them that God is looking out for them and is always near. The story of Little Seed and Little Fox will help children see that when they are afraid of change or scared of things, they can trust that God is with them, taking care of them, and loving them. Lysa wrote a beautiful letter at the beginning, sharing ten scriptures that you can memorize with your children. The illustrations are beautiful.

We love this book so much we could cry. It’s so good. I love how Lysa turns a difficult topic into a beautiful metaphor all throughout the book. How profound and beautiful and true it is to what life with the Father (the farmer) looks like in REAL life. This is so well thought out and written. And the illustrations are just so fun and cute! I want this in all the homes of all the little children I know so they can begin to understand the heart of God for themselves. So so precious.

I love love love this book. I wish she would write more. It is such a great way to help littles learn about God and talk about trusting Him when we don’t understand. Recommended!

This is a wonderful Christian book helping children understand growth in hard, scary seasons and how our Father always watches over and cares for us. Even though something seems scary, the Father is always there as we grow and transform into who we were meant to be.

Purchased for young kids going through a rough time. I read through the book prior to gifting. It is a sweet story about embracing change and trusting God’s plan.

My son has a lot of books. This one is my favorite. I bought this for him when he was 5 years old in 2020 during the heart of the pandemic when everything was shut down and he was doing school on the computer. It made him feel better and more hopeful. It also made me feel better as an adult, as I was in a dark place during that time when I saw a life-long friendship come to an end. A great theme in this book is loyalty and friendship between fox and seed, and how they were there for one another through the hard times. Also, this book teaches perseverance, faith in God, and trust in God even when you are in that "dark and scary place," when the future is unknown. I recommend this book for any child 5 years and above. If a child is younger that 5, they may not grasp the concepts presented.

This is one of the sweetest, most charming stories. I bought it during the Covid-19 crisis when so much was changing for my little one. It was free on the kindle app, and after one flip through I knew I needed this one on my book shelf. It's become one of my four year old's favourite stories! The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous and the story is an easy read about a little seed who doesn't like change and a little fox who feels afraid of most things. The Farmer (an allegory for God, explained clearly at the end) watches over all the creatures and takes care of them. The seed changes into a tree after going into a "dark scary place" but the Farmer is always watching and taking care of them. The book also includes some memory verse ideas. This is a winner for any Christian children's book collection.

Lovely story, read to 5/6 year olds. They really enjoyed and were able to make the link between the farmer and Christians relationship with God.

A wonderful resource for kids in times of transition

I LOVE this book, I took a chance ordering this book not knowing the author or any other kids books written by her but after starting to read it I began to cry! The story was so beautiful and symbolic of Gods goodness and our nature to fear or not trust. It's a wonderful story, has sculptures to memories with the kids. This book isnt just for the kids the parents get a lot out of it too. Leads to conversations as well which is great. My kids know they is my favourite book so they love to pick it and read together. So well written! Bought it for family as a gift for their kid going through treatment for cancer.
