Usborne Illustrated Elementary Math Dictionary (Illustrated Dictionaries)

This is one of three Usborne math books that we recently purchased. None of them disappointed! Even though one of them won't be used by my children for a few years due to the advanced level, I can already recognize the value it will provide. I should add that our two oldest children (grades 3 and 1) are not 'naturals' in math. It's been a struggle. I highly recommend the Usborne math books as they were an instant hit, and made a rather trying subject fun - and many of the things in the book really did stick! This is typically colorful and visually appealing to my children, and makes even 'advanced' concepts easy for them to understand. Super!

My 8 year old grandson loves this book, so I bought a copy for an 11 year old girl whom I tutor. It is well illustrated, easy to use, and well written. It has been helpful for both children.

It is an awesome reference book for both the agents and the kids. The mathematical terms are very well explained. It's a book that should find a place in every house with elementary grade kids irrespective of their interest in math. I would strongly recommend school to have copies in their libraries too

I love this book. I teach third grade and my friend teaches fifth. It is good for both those grades. Great simple definitions and explanations.

This text puts math ideas and concepts in an easy to use format that would be a good addition to any parent or teachers library.

I find this book very helpful! When my 3rd grader started using math terms that made no sense I knew it was time to make a plan! This book explains everything so nicely and you won't be disappointed!

Good book. My kid always refer to it. He uses it to be advanced in Math. So he does the complete chapter that corresponds to the one he is going to do in class.

On time order.....it's what I was always looking for.....! It will really help your child, and anyone (any age group) that has hardship understanding math. It deserves 5 Stars :-)
