NKJV, Deluxe Reader's Bible, Leathersoft, Black, Comfort Print

Very easy to read. At first glance it looks like there is print from the other side show-through but when reading it’s not noticeable at all. Nice cover that looks and feels like leather. I wanted a Bible without the distraction of chapters and verses and this is exactly that. Wonderful for just simply reading The Word. I could do without the headings but I can easily ignore those. Definitely recommend.

This Bible is outstanding, it's exactly what I was looking for. I bought this in May 2021 and have used it almost exclusively for daily reading since. The reader's style is superb for daily reading, and after experiencing it I find it very difficult to go back to the standard style of verse and chapter numbers. The reader's style makes it very easy to read long stretches of Scripture without distraction. Truly remarkable, I cannot recommend this enough.

Exactly what I said above - I chuckled and yet was slightly annoyed at those who came here and knocked off a star because they had a hard time finding a verse! Complaining that a READER’S Bible doesn’t have verse or chapter numbers is like complaining that a cow moos...Did you not read the description when you purchased this or were you just mesmerized by the pretty cover? Do you also root for football teams based on their pretty helmets?The product description could NOT be any clearer in stating what this bible is, its purpose, and how it is laid out to meet this purpose. And in this the NKJV ***READER’S*** Bible is outstanding! Fantastic cover, sewn binding, thicker pages, and a gorgeous, clear and astonishingly easy to read font with perfect line spacing.Nelson truly nailed this one... and for the price?????? Phenomenal.So for those of you who need a classic NKJV with standard verse and chapter numbering, make sure you READ the product description before purchasing one...

I don't think that I can add anything of worth to these other great reader's reviews, but to tell you that there is NO ISBN Number, but there IS a A Library of Congress Quality Control Number which is: 2017944803. I find it very odd that a widely distributed Bible, like this one, has NO ISBN Number! This is a tremendously beautifully put together Bible. It must be somewhat like reading the first Bibles (or Scrolls) must have been like, without a lot of other things getting in the way, like excessive chapter, and verse numbers, and other things getting in way of simply *reading the Bible*. This Bible is perfect for reading - exactly what it was designed for! I use it every day and absolutely love it. It is beautiful and a joy to use. I wish they made it with a real leather cover - I would spend the extra money for that. For $15 you cannot get a better Bible.

Pros:Looks and feels very nice.Cons:The verses are marked in increments of 5.So you will be left guessing which precisely is is verse 2, 3, or 4.Might be ok for general reading, but not ok if you have to locate specific verses for quoting.(I've never had a Reader's Bible before and maybe this is the way they all are?)For those who inquired, this Bible is Printed in China.

This is a very nice Bible and will most certainly enhance my life in Gods word! However it arrived with some inconsequential condition issues such as scuff marks and dog-eared pages. Doesn’t really bother me much but May to someone else. It should receive quite a few more of these issues as I plan to use it frequently and consistently.

The bible is beautiful! It is a joy to hold and to read. It is easy to do both, nice and flexible. I appreciate the dual page holder ribbons. The outside box will keep it in good shape for generations and looks nice sitting on my bookshelf. I would consider purchasing a calfskin edition, if available. That's the only thing that could possibly improve this GEM OF A PRODUCT. Please buy it! You will be very glad you did.

A beautiful rendition of the NKJV, without the distractions of verse numbers ( only every 5th verse numbered), cross references, etc. Ideal for reading at home or reciting in Church. Beautifully put together with very high quality paper and eye-catching font, which is black with red headings. Text does not bleed though, nor is there a concordance with this text or maps, but that's because it's a reader's Bible. A joy to hold in the hand and read. Beautiful cover, smyth sewn binding. All in all, an exceptionally well designed Bible for the modern reader. Highly recommended.

This excellent NKJV Bible is spoilt by the fact that the italic type set for words added by the translators to distinguish words added for clarity of English and the original manuscript words has not been followed. This is, in my humble opinion, a big mistake. As this honesty of print was an attraction for me.The quality of the product is first class. But its the way the message has been sutley tainted that concerns me.

I was looking for my first bible, one which was easy to read and had a luxury feel to do the great book justice. This Bible exceeded my expectations & frankly is very good value for money. Would make a lovely gift also.
