The fan heater produced heat briefly when I first turned it on. But shortly after it would produce only cold air. I can only conclude that the heating element was faulty. Having then read the bad reviews, I concluded that there was no point in sending it back. How can it be described by Amazon as a "best buy". I now graces my rubbish bin. Do NOT buy.

We wanted to use the heater to air clothes on a clothes airer. Heat output is very poor and the fan is extremely weak. Overall the output is negligible even on the 3KW setting. Cannot think of any circumstances where the performance we have experienced would be of any real use There must be better than this on the market.

I have been using this for 3 months now. Quickly warms up a sizeable room which is what I needed. The thermostat is a bit temperamental so you have to manually adjust sometimes (not always) so a remote would have been useful. If you are a light sleeper the noise will not let you sleep. Overall for the price does the job. Haven't checked energy consumption.

Within one minute the room was filled with the scent of burning and smoke. There were blue sparks emitting from my brand new heater. I have requested a refund.

Very good for winter heats the room up in no time. It has auto switch off so once it feels the tempreture is hot enough then it switches off.

This worked fine for about 4-5 months but today there was a smell of burning and one of the pins started melting both the plug casing and the plastic socket it was plugged into. Not good. Only on about a quarter power as well. I managed to take the plug out with difficulty. Now looking for a better quality replacement... one with a 2 year guarantee.

I don't tend to use this too, often but it works like a treat and warms up a room in minutes. A good back up for winter or faulty central heating etc

Very efficient room heater. Great product arrived well packaged and in a timely manner. Much better than halogen heaters that rely on radiation.
