Excellent multi-purpose hand sanitiser.
I switched over to this Cutan gel hand sanitiser some time ago specifically because the brand has been in constant use by the NHS for many years right across the UK. Anyone visiting their local hospital or doctors surgery should be familiar with these bottles/dispensers. (Despite the ongoing radical cutbacks at least this is one product the NHS hasn't messed about with, obviously for good reason & which speaks volumes).I use both this Cutan gel hand sanitiser, & their complete foaming sanitiser in my home. I'm happy with both products & I'm safe in the knowledge that my hands have been properly disinfected & sanitised with each use. However, in general I prefer the foam out of the two. The gel just doesn't seem to rub in/evaporate quite as rapidly as the foam & my hands often feel a little greasy immediately after use. Obviously, this sanitiser is alcohol based & it has an alcoholic odour when dispensed, however, it doesn't leave behind any trace odours, etc. It's absolutely fine for use prior to handling foodstuffs as well. (I don't actually suffer from Dermatitis or any other skin conditions, however, at times I can get dry & cracked skin around my fingernails. Constantly using the foam variant alone can aggravate that problem slightly. Ergo, I also use this gel at times as it seems to have mild moisturising properties which can help in that regard). Otherwise it causes no irritation at all, even if you have any open sores or small cuts/nicks on your hands. The bottles aren't supplied in any retail packaging at all, (mine came directly from Amazon). They've arrived as is & they don't have a protective cap for the dispenser/pump either. The pumps do have a twist lock if required although it's not particularly robust & they're sizable bottles to take on travels. The foam sanitiser definitely absorbs/evaporates faster but this gel is still quick & convenient, (on the flipside this gel was also nearly half the price of the foam too, enough said)!! Ultimately the label says it all, 99.99% effective against most bacteria & nasties. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. 5/5.

Good product
I like to have a big bottle of hand sanitzer next to my make up table to clean my hands periodically to stop colours mixing. I noticed that this is the product usually used in hospitals so I thought I’d give this one a try. I really like it - it’s a lot less sticky once it dries than some others. It also doesn’t seem to dry and gunk up around the nozzle. It’s expensive compared to others, but I do prefer the product and I think I’ll buy it again.

Cheap way of refilling smaller bottles
I use these larger bottles to refill the smaller ones I carry in the car and in my pocket. It works out much cheaper than buying new 50ml bottles every time.
