I had black spots on mine ? Is this mold?

I've never seen black spots on the candy, there are dark spots to mimic the stems, could this be what you mean?

I don’t have one handy, but have bought the product many times in the last few years, as marzipan alternatives are few. The last box was bought in mid July, kept in a ziplock not really sealed, and the last few are still tender. That’s almost 5 months.

Is this really Marzipan? I don’t think so. It was too damned sweet and they painted these things with food coloring. Why did they sweeten these things with corn syrup? Gross. Will bot buy these again.
