I use this little electric vacuum sealer to seal my dry goods like rice, beans, lintels, split peas. A lot of my dry foods.

There is nothing to dislike. I like to seal all my food/leftovers.

Anyone who uses mason jars knows that storing food in them lasts way longer than food stored in most other containers. Add this little gem into the mix so you can vacuum seal those jars, and you extend the life of the food by quite a bit more!If you're used to storing your food in plastic containers or bags, it will blow your mind how much longer the food will last in vacuum sealed jars. It really will save you money on food because you won't be throwing so much of it away like you are now.This is a great device. It's rechargeable, so there are no batteries to buy. Unlike some of the other sealers, this one is all one piece so you don't have to worry about losing a piece switching between small-mouth and wide-mouth jars.Sealing a jar is super easy. Just put the device over the jar, hold it down and tap the "auto" button. It will seal the jar, and shut off when it is done. You really don't even need the ring part that screws onto the top of the jar, as once it is vacuum sealed, the little flat lid is stuck on there until you exert enough force to remove it. Speaking of removing those, this comes with a little bottle/jar opener tool that makes that super easy to do, and saves your fingernails.This set also comes with a bunch of extra little flat lids that you can use to seal pasta sauce jars or other types of jars you may have bought that did not come with lids like that but are that size.This has a digital readout on the top that shows you the battery percentage, and the time in seconds while sealing jars. It's quiet, and only takes about a minute to seal those really big 64oz jars. The battery is more than ample for my needs. I sealed 5 big jars and and the battery life was still at 94 percent.I highly recommend this to everyone. This is awesome. It's my first time using one of these and I'm loving it. The box comes with extra wide mouth and normal canning lids, instructions, and a short USB charging cable. To test this, I pulled out a jar of opened pepper jelly from the fridge that I'd canned last summer and opened a couple of weeks ago, wiped off any stickiness on the outside of the rim, made sure I heard the clicking of the already opened lid when I pressed it, put the lid back on, and then put the jar sealer on top, pressing down until I felt it lodge into place. I pushed the on button and it automatically started for me and counted up. At 22 seconds it stopped. I waited just in case, then pulled out my jar. Completely sealed! No clicking sound and I can hold it up by the lid edges without the lid coming off. Wow! A used lid resealed and everything. This is awesome. I'm putting it back in the fridge, of course, because I probably introduced contaminates and just resealing doesn't sterilize too, but resealing alone is wonderful. I'm excited to use this on more things to seal and reseal since it is so easy and fast. I can't wait to use this on jars that fail to seal out of my waterbath canner too.

I’m really impressed with this mason jar vacuum sealer, it’s been a fantastic addition to my kitchen, especially with all the canning I do. The one touch button makes it super easy to use, and the LED display with 30s and 60s options is a nice touch for customizing the seal time. The suction is strong enough to keep everything sealed tightly, even when I’m sealing jars with liquids. I tried inverting and shaking a jar filled with sauce, and the seal held perfectly!It’s also very portable and doesn’t take up much space, which is ideal for a smaller kitchen. I love that it’s rechargeable too; it saves the hassle of changing batteries constantly. I really appreciate the thoughtful inclusion of 5 lids for two jar size. My only small suggestion is that a storage bag for the accessories would make it even better. Overall, a time saving gadget that makes canning so much easier!
