The a I dog 30 is a sophisticated technical snowboard "off slope attack pack". this is not Chinese made crap that doesn't actually fit anyone because it comes in one size for everyone ( meaning no one) and breaks down after one season. It doesn't feel like a monkey on your back after you try to lash your board to it and try to climb to the nearest Cornice. The air dog 30 is a Gnarr, handcrafted American made pack that will fit your back like your favorite boots fit your feet, keep your gear dry and carry your stick more securely than that last fatty tucked away in your secret zippered pocket. It will last for years and has plenty of accessories to customize it just for you. So check out the pics and those other Chinese made crap packs you've been looking at, get back to this page, choose your size and color, hit add to Cart, set yourself up for this winter and go "shred some flake".

Much better than previously reviewed
I feel like i need to offset the previous negative review since the reviewer might have gotten his information wrong. This bag does not come standard with a waterproof liner (like some of VanTerra's other products). It is clearly stated on the VanTerra's website (vluggagedotcom) as "optional".With that said this is one of the worst product pages I have ever come across on Amazon. There is very little information about the bag. Just some ranting about other bags quality and how bad other bags are. VanTerra could do with updating this page to make the listing a little more appealing. Now down to the actual bag and why I'm giving it 4 stars! I own 3 other bags for different uses (Granite Gear, Osprey and Mountain Hardwear) and this one feels like it will hold up better than all three. Yes its heavier than the rest but if i'm going to strap snowshoes to this thing then I want something that will hold up. I'll have no problem strapping my snowshoes, trekking poles and ice axe to this bag and still have plenty of room inside for extra layers, jackets and food. It's a winter bag for winter activities. The shoulder straps are comfortable and it does have load lifters so you can dial in the fit nicely. The hipbelt is also comfortable and I'm glad it uses the pull out type of closure instead of pulling in. I would have liked a small pocket and a bit of padding but not a deal breaker since its intended for day use and not multi day treks. The roll top system works easily and should be watertight. Admittedly I have not had it in rain so I cant say sure. The volume inside does feel much larger than my Mountain Hardwear Scrambler 30 and doesn't have that horrible top lid the MH bag has. This bag does not deserve the one star review below It's definitely worth the money especially if you can get it at the discounted price. I still cant believe i got this bag at the price I did. Its an absolute steal at $42 (orange). This is a quality, well made bag made that's produced in WA. I keep thinking about how well its made and how all the materials feel. I wish there were actual material specs on the listing page or website so I could know what this bag is made from. It just feels rock solid. I freaking love this bag!But since nothing is perfect and the product page is crap, I have to give it 4 stars.

Missing Liner and company does not respond.
I rarely write any negative reviews but I had to for Ven Terra. The bag is good quality, unfortunately the company sucks. The waterproof liner is missing, even when they supposedly write initials to show the quality control of the product. Looks like they just sign off on anything. On they’re website they talk about its better than China’s crap but atleast China will replace it. Amazon did a great job, Ven Terra is a joke. Stay away from this brand.
