I was a little skeptical because I have heard of so many dupes, but I think I got it right this time! This smells heavenly, like coffee. It's smooth to touch and use on my hair and scalp. I'm not sure about hair growth, but it does make my hair feel exceptionally soft and I love how smoothly it goes on my scalp!

First off, it smells sooooo good, like coffee and creamer, very nice but not at all overwhelming, I want a body wash that smells like this lol, I’ve heard great things about it, honestly this was just the first brand I found on Amazon, I’m optimistic, I have curly/ wavy brunette hair, it used to be VERY thick, over the past year I’ve lost like 9/10ths of my hair with lots of scalp showing now, I have no baby hairs and I have very little left compared to what I had before, I don’t know what happened, doctors can’t figure it out, I plan to use this at least 2-3 times a week, or whenever I wash my hair, and check results, I will update how it goes for me in a couple months...

My 8yo daughter has 4c natural hair. It's highly tangle-prone (that web effect) and she's extremely tender-headed. Wash day, braid day, all that was a nightmare. Ive tried so many products with mixed success. Batana oil by far has revolutionized our hair combing experience. To test it, I kept her hair in two-strand twists for several weeks. I'd shampoo it, deep condition it (all in twists) then re-twist the singles, re-applying the batana oil. Her hair separates like butter. Very few tangles, no breakage beyond normal shedding. And best of all, no tears! Her hair is soft, subtle and has a rich moisturized look. Give how dry 4c hair typically is, that's a big deal. Oh - and she's on the swim team and swims at least 2x a week. This has been a huge help. I personal hate the smell of coffee, and as others have said, it does have that burnt coffee scent. I wouldnt say it smells "bad". I just don't like it. I could see how coffee lovers might feel differently. (Note: I use Traycee Ellis' Patterns detangling leave-in and Karkar oil to round out the moisturizing arsenal. Together that works great for us, and the batana oil is a huge part of that product suite.). If you've 'tried everything", try this!

This really makes a difference to what my hair was doing before. I usually have a lot of shedding when I do my hair routine. I actually applied it for overnight instead and rinse it out and continue with my daily shampoo and conditioner. When it was time to blow dry my hair less to no strains . I will continue to use this and give a month review

I love this more than I thought I would. It has a nutty coffee smell and the consistency is dreamy and creamy. It’s turned my straw-line feeling hair back to soft. I’m even putting it on my nails.

LaBatana Raw Oil is a great choice if your goal is to restore moisture, improve hair texture, and reduce breakage. It's less of a miracle growth potion and more of a rich, natural conditioner for healthier looking hair. A little goes a long way! I found that massaging the oil into my scalp before bed and washing it out in the morning left my hair softer and more manageable. This product made my strands stronger, less frizzy, and more hydrated. It's heavy, so it works best as an overnight treatment rather than a daily leave-in conditioner.

I honestly have no idea how to rate this item. I used it twice leaving it on overnight before washing out the next day. I have receding edges and thought this could help in bringing them back. This item is very thick so you have to rub it in well' preferably rubbing it in your fingers before applying to warm in it up. Once my applied to my scalp, I can't see how styling outside of putting my hair in one because this product is heavy. It does give hair a nice soft feel. I will not reorder as I was hoping this was something I could put in my hair and leave on as a moisturizer or leave in conditioner. It has a nice mixture of smells; Cocoa, chocolate, coffee and caramel, but it becomes bothersome to walk around smelling like it, so I keep my hair covered until I wash it out. My hair is left softer but I am not sure if it's this product or the conditioner I use. It is not a waste of money, but it's not what I wanted.
