I honestly don’t put protectant on my shoes. Early morning walks through grass never managed to get the inside wet. Sorry I couldn’t be much help.

It likely won't be available in wide. The Oyster/Ebony/Alloy color is probably the closest that's available in wide.

Yes, the Glycerin 23 has the guide rail feature. I always wear Brooks shoes as I have orthotic inserts and also wear AFO braces, and this pair of shoes are most comfortable pair Brooks I’ve ever owned.
